Hi to all!

As the originator of this thread, I'm very glad many responded for my inquiry on the electronics industry.
Can someone share their ideas regarding how much does an electronics engineer earn in NZ. Where are most of these companies located. How do we go thru the NZ professional registration to be able to practice your profession.

Appreciate any info you could share.

Salary Electronics engineers usually earn between $35000 and $80000 per year.

Eto ang link ng NZ electronics industry.

Go to www.ipenz.co.nz on registration matters. Kasi dito wala silang board exam after university trabaho agad sa industry. After gaining 10-15 year expereince thats the time kukuha ng CPENG yung ang mayroon exam.

Dear Fellow Pinoy Engineer,

Jeanette van Barneveld IPENZ Competence Development Manager just finished her half day lecture inside our office about IPENZ. Engineers (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Geotechnical, Architectures) are present. We had a lot of question since most of our colleagues came from South Africa, USA, Canada and Asia. After university take 6 months review then take PRC board exam. They go straight to the industry and work. Pero sa case ko since may 5 years experience ako sa Power Industry they considered me as Design Engineer.

Before you will be accepted as Chartered of Professional Engineers (CPeng) you have to undergo minimum 10-15 years experience. Then they require us to do some technical report part of the requirement. My colleagues (15-20) years experience did not bother to be a member kasi walang time na gumawa ng technical report. Pero kung gusto mong maging Professional Engr dito gain 10 years experience tapos maghanap ka ng mentor mo after that stage you can submit you report then take the exam. Ang exam nila dito is not like PRC one. Exam here in Panel Interview. Present your report then saka ka nila igigisa sa sariling mantika. So it will all depends on you kung saan field me gusto. Electronics or Electrical.

For more details you can contact Ms. Barneveld for more details:
