I have met alot of moari's, in my time of been here and they are lovely people with alot of spirituality and respect I love the culture its great and as for gang members, my sons uncles are members of the mongrel mob and they are also great guys and no how to have a good time and look after the people they care about maybe their not all like that but at the end of the day its all about respect an theirs alot of disrespectful balheads on this site.people over in newzealand are always quick to judge thats one thing you will find. especially in the citys its all about what your driveing or wearing or how big your house is its perfetic thats the one thing I do like about the moari's in nz they can have nothing and their happy with what they do have and have lot's of love to give. |

Well it depends on where you are living, it may cost $100 for a room in a flat in Auckland but only $60 in Invercargill. Same as the UK it is more expensive to live in London than say Hull.
You will find some things cheaper in New Zealand than the UK, expecially basic living costs. But once you are working it is all relative. Me and my girlfriend a paying 90 pounds a week for a room in Edinburgh, convert that to NZ dollars and for NZ$230 the room better have a en suite with a spa, big screen TV, bar, ocean view and a maid! |

| "people over in newzealand are always quick to judge thats one thing you will find. especially in the citys its all about what your driveing or wearing or how big your house is ", I think you just described western culture in general, I don't think "the Joneses" syndrome is New Zealand specific. |
