Hi there mga kababayan.
I and my partner had already submitted our passports, migrant levy, and $6,000 and some more amount to meet the requirements before they give us the WTR status. We sent these required stuffs to the NZIS Bangkok early August and we expected to get the WTR by the end of September. But October is almost over, and we have yet to hear about our application for the WTR from our visa officer.
We really want to email our visa officer to know the status of our WTR application, but I don't think that this is a wise move because we had been advised not to inquire on this matter. Nevertheless, I believe that we are all entitled to know what in the world is happening to our WTR application at this point.
IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE WHO'S IN THE SAME SITUATION?
How long does it really take for the NZIS to complete the processing of the WTR application? Our documents had been always complete. And if they were not, then the visa officer should have told us so.
Letting me know that we are not alone on this will help a lot. Salamat.

Kidra,
Better check the other threads as all your questions will be answered there. Please check the Work to Resident thread. Good luck. |

Thanks for the advise. You're in New Zealand now? If yes, buti ka pa.

| Kidra, From other threads, I understand that it takes 3 to 4 months for them to review/process the WTR documents. So your wait is still not that long. Hope this helps ease your concerns. |
