Arrow I have lived in Wairoa for two years, and recently moved on. Not because of the "gangs" but for work purposes. Wairoa is a lovely place, and the people are really something different. Every town has its bumps and bruises and Wairoa is included. Don't let the media and stories from friends other people put you off Wairoa, until you experience this place for yourself then YOU can judge. I loved Wairoa, and hope to go back one day. You will be treated well here. Gangs are gangs, to some they may give the town a bad name, but leave them alone, they have their reasons. They wouldn't hurt you. Laughing
