PostPosted: Fri Jan 27, 2006 10:20 am    Post subject: NZQA Assessment Reply with quote

Hi Guys,

Am new here but I have questions to ask.

I have a job offer and my papers are now with the NZIS in Manila. After 90 days I received an advise from the NZIS that I should get my degree assesed by NZQA.

However, the school I attended is not on the list of institutions mentioned in the previous post. By the way, Myrna thanks for that post, it is really informative. I will pass it to my friends.

I read through the NZQA that if the institution is not acreditted the NZQA will not assess my degree. I maybe wrong but is there anybody who can comment on this?

Thanks,
Ted

Hi Ms. Myrna! The information you provided are really helpful. I am really worried because I haven't received my ita yet since my selection last August, at least wala pang 9 months. I have some questions though, how come ang daming babayaran if you're given the wtr visa? It's difficult to get a job offer now since those I applied online requires me to have a working visa or to be a resident, i'm wondering how come the others got a job while in Manila? Are you in New Zealnd now? since when?

Hi everybody,

We would like to seek you advise to our case...
Could anybody help us...

Thanks for your informative post. Just want to share our case with you. I am new here and at the same time I only started my application this week. I am in the first stage with my BF. Actually, I have convinced my BF to leave the military service so that we can pursue our plan to migrate. I will be the principal applicant and my school (UP Diliman) is in the list of recognized qualification. Since my BF is not in the list, we have to assess his qualification through PAR before we submit our EOI. He will submit his PAR application this week so that we can proceed to the submission of EOI. Hopefully, we will be selected in the pool.

By the way, I am a pre-school teacher with more than two years of working experience and currently taking masters in SPED while my BF is still in the military service with five years of experience. On the other hand, we have pass the minimum requirements of 100 pts. We would like to seek your advise regarding our application.

Thank you and more power... Smile

HI!! to all of you,

I am also new member and that you for all your informative post specially with the details posted by Myrna.

Any body can give me advise on how I will handle my situation now?

I was selected last August 2005, I submited my paper in NZQA on November 2005, my applcation to apply last December 2005 and my Medical on early January 2006. Althought I already received acknowledgement that my application was already received by NZIS, I have not received any notice of who will be my VO.

On the experience of the others, is it realy that long waiting before they can assign VO for my application?

What will be my next move?

Thanks

Hello RCL,

Visit www.immigration.govt.nz/migrant/

Hintay ka lang na bumaba ang points, para siguradong maselect.

Hi Alex;

Thanks for the advise.

One question, will NZIS process an Application if NZQA have not yet release the result.

Because in my case I still do not have any news on my NZQA.

Regards and good luck to all of us.

Hi Again to Everyone.

I was not able to regularly post and reply.

Per the last message sent by Alex, by the way thanks again Alex for your information, that someometimes you will only know your VO when you received the schedule of Interview.

Is it also true that who ever sentyour ATI most provably he or she will be your VO. My ATI was sent by Kamonrat Chayamarit.

What are the usual question in the interview and what is the document they will be looking on the time of interview.

Thanks in advance and good luck to all of us.

Hi ted,

Mali ata yung interpretation mo sa nzqa. becaus my school is not included in the list. yung employer ko dito sa auckland ask for my nzqa. so sinabi ko sa employer ko na yung nzqa is on process. it took 3 months bago ko nakuha ang result. once nakuha ko yung result binabigyan ako ng job offer overnight! For for it kasi kailangan mo din yan kapag nag-apply for ita dito. so far 2 months na akong nagtatrabaho dito at nalodde ko yung aking ITA. Good luck sa POEA mo OFW kasi ang category natin once Talent work visa is issued. attached ko na din poea step by step guidelines for your reference.

Regards,

AchieDetaiedl Steps for POEA: Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS),
e-Receipt and e-Card

3. Xerox of Passport 2 copies
4. Xerox of Work Visa/ Permit 2 copies

Note: Bring company ID for reference of SSS/Philhealth No/ T.I.N.

Proceed to window 6 or 7 for initial registration and sign log book. They will give you PDOS endorsement form for schedule.

Go to right wing of 2nd Floor look for OWWA PDOS Office. Present PDOS endorsement form.

You will be instructed to go to adjacent room for PDOS lecture and film showing. It runs from 8:30-11:00 late comers are not allowed.

Inside the PDOS lecture room the POEA officials will give you Comelec Registration form for 2007 Election “early campaign ng goverment “ fill up the form so that you can save time.

Be sure to register your name sa attendance sheet kundi wala kang PDOS Certificate of Attendance. Put you Job Description, Job Site, Salary based on Contract.

Lecture Proper you can ask intelligent questions and not so intelligent question. Take down notes for Travel Tips and Baggage Allowances.

Free coffee and Skyflakes is offered part of the payment, magsawa ka sa kape.

After the lecture and film showing POEA official will instruct you to go to OWWA PDOS Office. Go to comelec registration booth, present the Comelec Registration Form. A picture taking will be conducted and taking of digital thump print. Smile for the digital camera kasi 4 years mong dadalhin yung litrato mo. Go back to PDO lecture room for the issuance of your PDOS Certificate of Attendance.

Wait for your name to be called, submit the PDOS endorsement form, and sign the logbook of the attendance sheet testifying that you already got the PDOS Certificate.

Proceed to window 6 / 7 for the initial assessment and present the mandatory requirement (see above). The officiating officer will give you OFW information sheet (FM-POEA-05-GA-07-01), Checklist (Pink Form ata yun) and POEA registration form / repatriation. Fill up the form at waiting area.

When payment is done you will receive the triplicate copy of e-Receipt, paki check name baka may clerical error or employer/principal and destination.

Proceed to Philhealth office. It’s located 1st floor malapit ng canteen. Go to window 20.

Present all the triplicate e-Receipt. They will issue you Philheath Information Sheet. Submit the form and they will issue you the number. Wait for your named to be called. Random yun number so please do not complain kasi may naka assign sa papers nyo.

Once number is called they will issue you Philhealth Member Data Record. The officer will ask you to check the details of your record.

AsK the officer kung puwede kang magpakuha ng e-Card near their office. 2 kasi ng e-Card center. 1 is located sa 1st Floor and Philhealth area. Usually for balik manggagawa program kasi yun.

If they allow you take at Philhealth area mas ok dun kasi una mabait yung officer at kamukha niya si Cherry Pie Picache. But prior to that fill up muna e-Card registration form.

Smile sa camera kasi 10 years mo dadalhin yung mukha mo. You will be instructed to signed digital pen for your signature. Wait for the e-Card, ATM kasi yun so puwede mong activate yun sa EPCI branch ng POEA or any branch of EPCI.

Finish na puwede ka ng umuwi kasi 4:30 PM na.

Dear Caviteno;

Sorry I made a mistake, I was selected October 2004, submit my EOI on September 2004 and I received my ITA on August 2005, submit my NZQA on November 2005 and my Application to NZIS on December 2005.

As of now I have not received any feedback for both NZQA AND NZIS.

Hope you received your ITA soon and see you at NZ.

Again good luck to all of us.
