Mt. Wellington and Wellington are two different places. Mt. Wellington is in Auckland...Wellington is the capital city (of NZ) in the most southern part of the North Island.
Goodluck! |

Dear Myrna,
Thank you so much for the informative post. I want to take your suggestion to read all of the existing posts first before posting a question, but somehow its too time-consuming.
I would like to request for your advice regarding the requirement for recognized qualification. My husband and I would like to apply for Skilled Worker Immigration Visa next year. He is currently practicing as farm supervisor for Del Monte Phils. He graduated from Xavier University with a degree in BS Agriculture, major in Animal Science. I saw in the list that Xavier is a accredited university. The problem is, my husband's average qpi did not reach A or B, or 85%.
Can he still claim the 50 points?
We hope to be enlightened on this matter.
Thank you for your time. |

| I met an Animal Science grad from CMU-Bukidnon and he's working in a diary farm. He informed me that he has classmates who are also working here as far as the South Island. Its hardwork though but thats how it is really. He wakes up very early becuase he has to tend to 700 cows who're milked twice a day. And he's the only one working on the dairy farm plus the owner. By the way, he has a 2 year work visa. Flick me your email and we'll discuss offline. Thanks. |

| Hello. Good day po sa lahat! Meron na kming WORK VISA/PERMIT APPLICATION FORM(INZ 1015), Supplementary QUESTIONNAIRE for temporary visa, Form for partners supporting partnership-based temporary entry applications(INZ 1146). Tnx and I HOPE MATULUNGAN NIYO AKO. |

I hope you don't mind me asking but why didn't your partner include you in his work permit application in the first place? A work permit application can include a spouse or partner and dependent children. Why did you have to file a separate work permit application?
Whatever you do with your application, I would suggest that you (and your partner) should be honest and upfront with your visa officer regarding his marital situation. Who knows they might have information that could aid you in your application; all they ask of you guys is for you to be honest and upfront in your application.
If you deliberately withhold this vital information and immigration finds this out later on, they might revoke your visa and/or deny you permanent residency application should you decide to apply for it.
Hiring a New Zealand Immigration lawyer might help.
Good luck. |

I'll try to be sympathetic this time although I am usually not.
I think your "partner" can consult a justice of the peace here in NZ as to what document/s to give NZIS as evidence that he is no longer living with his 'former' wife and that he is 'de facto' separated. Yes.
NZIS will definitely find out that he is married. That is exactly the reason why approval of visa application based on partnership takes a long time. |

Good day!
im just new here in this forum..meron lang po akong mga questions.Sana meron pong makatulong sa akin:
ako po ay interested na magapply sa NZ as immigrant with partner (de facto). Bale i have 7 years of experience po working in academic institution sa pinas, then 5 months naman po sa singapore as education admin executive po..meron po akong masteral units (LaSalle)almost patapos na po..Ung undergrad ko pong University wala sa listing ng NZ recognized qualification.
then ung partner ko naman po is IT graduate pero di nya na-practice (school nya is from a listed recognized qualification ng NZ), 6 years na experience sa call center as trainer and QA sa pinas, tapos 1 yr naman sa singapore same job po..
bale ung partnership po namin is same sex (gay partnership). with all our qualifications may chance po ba kaming maapprove or ma-accept ang EOI.

You are just stressing yourselves with unnecessary worry re interview. You will get your visa unless you are suffering from some communicable and incurable disease and/or a convicted criminal.
But, fear more the current economic situation which might frustrate your quest to look for skilled jobs which will be the only basis for your PR. That should be your primary worry and should be the one you guys should plan about. |
