To anyone,
I would just like to make a very important inquiry with you which might affect the outcome of my application.
Unfortunately, my personal circumstances have changed particularly that of my partner
and children. You see my partner has ailing parents and is requesting not to be included
in the application for now. In this case, I wish to change my application to only myself included.
Another application will be filed for them in the near future when everything is well.
Kindly advise on how is this going to affect my application if in case I will not include
them in the application for now. I have not claimed any points for my partner for recognized
qualification.
I would also like to understand if Health requirements still apply for
for my partner and dependents. |

Hi Kenndric,
Based from my understanding of the guide, if you are married and have children, you automatically has a partner and dependents.
The sick parents of your spouse is not a threat in your application because they are not actually your dependents. NZIS only ask for the names of your immediate family in case in the future you may want to petition them. If you will not declare them, you are actually losing your right to petition them later on.
Since you already have your ITA, claiming points for your partner is no longer necessary. Although, ofcouse you should declare her educational background, being your partner, she will also be given a work permit in NZ.
regards, |
