Below outlines some of my concerns regardign my work experience:
1/ I have three previous companies that are now closed, I myself treid to contact them but to no avail. My consultant said provide an affidavit for each to explain why I cannot provide the document in the prescribed form (this consultant I hired for my previous plan of applying for immigration in Canada). I have that affidavit attached with the original employment certificate I got from these two companies.
2/ One of my work was only part time for 5 months (this company changed name ). Considering the rules outlining the definition of "full time" work then, this experience will only amount to 2 months . I perhaps will count that out, but I will show it as proof that I worked as "instructor."
3/ I tried to setup my own practice a year after I got my board license, it did not turn out as fruitful as I expected so I do not have anything to show for that. Again, I am leaving this out (not claiming points) because I do not have anything to prove this, but I will send an affidavit that I did tried to practice architecture during that year so they will not have trouble finding out where one year of my professional life was spent.
In total, I will be garnering 7 years of experience as opposed to 8 years 4 months. This now translates to 110 points
Does anyone have any thought on this? I really am gaining confidence from your posts. |
