Hi.

My daughter is now 4 years old and is a bit delayed in her speech development. She's now undergoing some extra special education for this.
Do i need to declare this in my EOI under section R6. Or would it be better if not? Personally i feel i need to declare it but i don't know the impact
it will do on my application.

thanks in advance and appreciate anyone's help.

Hi,
I attended a seminar of an agency and they are not into lying. But i know it really has an impact since she is your dependent and you will be bringing her to NZ. In my opinion, you better declare it on your EOI co'z they will find out anyway on the medical. Baka magkagastos ka lang, in the end they will not approve. Malay mo rin naman, you declared the truth but they still approved of it.

You may seek an advice of an agent, baka they already have a case like this.

Regards,
vina

hi,
i have a friend who is now in Christchurch. Her daughter is a special child. She told them everything when they applied. If you are honest, you don't have to fear & "remember" anything, right?Anyway, if it is something they consider serious(which i think its not), you can opt for a medical waiver. I had my medical last week and the doctor simply look at the baby's book of my 4year old son, the hands and feet to see if they were complete. No qtns were asked on my little boy.If you are called to the embassy for interview, the child is not required to be there. hope these info helps.
