Hi Everyone,

I just want to share my experience with NewJobz. I have read in the forum that some are considering getting the services of NewJobz. I am a Filipino and like everyone share the same dream as all of you. I got the services of Newjobz a year and a half ago. The company is real and they are based in Christ church. I enrolled to be an associate but unfortunately I pulled out from the membership after a year. They were not able to secure a job offer for me within the specified period. The good thing about Newjobz is they really refund you the $3,500.00 membership fee you paid if you decide not to pursue. I got my refund. I guess getting the the job offer really depends on ones qualifications and what field of expertise you are in. If your qualifications and expertise is not hard to place in NZ then it would be easier to secure a job offer.

If you think you have greater chances of getting a job by getting the services of NewJobz then take the risk. But you should be ready to let go of $3,500.00.
Which is a lot of money.

Please help me understand guys, bakit iba-iba yata ang fee nila. kc when i applied for associate fee, NZD2997 initial investment tapos NZD3000 final investment. ngayon check ko uli sa web. NZD2497 na lang and final investment of NZD1500.

Hi, Jhosandt

I looked at NewJobZ's website and this is how I understand it. AND AGAIN THIS IS JUST MY OPINION.

Now they don't guarantee a job. What they promise are two options: 1) if you become an Associate but are not invited to become a Gold Member, you get the Associate package and access to their job database; 2) if you get Invited to be a Gold member, then you pay an initial amount of NZD2,497. This means that they exert effort to look for an employer for you, that means redrafting your resume, looking for jobs, submitting your profiles to possible employers, arranging interviews, etc.
Now, please take note thta they say that this is refundable. If they get a job for you, then they will help you with the immigration process. That's when you pay the last NZD1,500. If they fail to get a job for you, then you can use their immigration services at a discount. Now if you choose not to use their immigration services, they wil respect that, but also caution you that will not be able to help you any longer.

Again, this is just my opinion. Maybe this was a restructuring of their terms and services after many people paid the first NZD3,000, weren't able to get work, and started to ask refunds. This was probably a response to many complaints that the refunds weren't given on time. In this way, they safeguard any future liabilities in case work is hard to come by - at the same time cover their expenses and efforts for promoting the Gold Member to NZ employers.

Be aware that because the testimonials are on their website, it would not be a neutral selection.

What it boils down is that these are immigration agents. $3,500 is too high to pay for only a guarantee of best efforts.

Tulad yung nasa testimonial na IT Manager saka yung nurse.

Makakakuha ka ng trabaho on your own.

Kung me tanong pa kayo, pwede kayong magtanong thru the immigration website. Meron pa ngang FAQ doon.

Kung too good to be true ang nababasa nyo sa mga nag-ooffer ng tulong o trabaho, malamang hindi talaga totoo.

Hi everyone, I’m a newbie in this forum. I’ve been reading the thread and it seems there are more negative opinions and experiences with Newjobz than otherwise. I’m beginning to wonder if I had made the right decision of becoming a member.
Anyway, just to share with everyone, I availed their membership last March. From the time I inquired until my Associate status, I had full communication with them. I even had an excellent rating on my POS. What’s weird is, now that I’m a member, I haven’t received word from them at all. I know it’s been only 2 months, but the lack of communication from them has made me uncertain. So I decided to follow up on my status. I asked them if this is normal, how my case is, if they need docs from me, etc… Until now, there’s still no response. I’m aware they said to keep emails to a minimum, but a little progress report won’t hurt right?
Can anybody advice me on this? Is this normal? Am I being too impatient? What should be my next step? Thanks.

Hello everyone. I have come across this site just this morning and I am glad to have seen this before applying for gold membership in Newjobz. I have just paid the associate membership fee 2 weeks ago and I received my assoc pack a week after. I must say that the contents of the CD are pretty inspiring and moving but I still have doubts on paying a hefty amount for such a risky investment. However, since me and my wife have been seriously contemplating in settling in New Zealand, sooner or later we might succumb to this tempting offer . I have already tried searching for possible employment from online job sites but it appears that there's a very slim chance of landing a job through this method. Before I try the newjobz gold membership, I would like to ask if someone would know if there are lots of job opportunities in New Zealand for mainframe programmers and business analysts. Hope to hear from you guys. Thanks everyone.

I've been a member since Sept. 2005 and to-date... NewJobz is unsuccessful of finding me a job =( Yes, too good too be true nga. I emailed Keith Lightfoot last week asking for a refund...he had read the message but he didn't reply. This afternoon, I sent him another email to follow-up. It's almost 9 months now and walang nangyari.

Guys, I suggest to just look for another agency. What is the percentage ng nahahanapan nila ng trabaho out of total number of members?

It's still up to you... be careful!

God bless!

Hello everybody! I'm gold member since Jan 2006, and waiting for my registration for the Nursing Council of New Zealand. Just want any feedback or idea if how many months it takes to be registered in the Council. I had already sent all the forms, fees and requirements for the registration since Jan 2006.Anyone? Thank you in advance.

Hi everyone. Finally, Newjobz had replied. They said there are already prospective employers for me and just need time to shortlist their applicants. A few weeks or perhaps months more of waiting before I get an interview. I'm crossing my fingers. I'm not really picky with regards to possible employments, so I hope all turns out well.

hi to all,
Im also desiring to work and live in NZ. and upon searching about NZ i saw Newjobz last june 2006. I wrote to them and ask many questions at katulad nga ng sabi ninyo di sila agad sasagot. Keith was the one communicating with me but i think its only computerized answer. I think about their associate fee kung magbabayad ba ako, but thanks God i changed my mind .that week b4 i pay $297.... I met Mrs. Me last july 2006(she is the consultant) of NZIHS thru this forum also, backpak. They have consultancy fee also but affordable naman. She helped me and assisted me in my EOI application and luckily
my applctn was SELECTED last sept 13,2006.Now Im waiting for the immigration for my ITA.
So, if u are looking for gud agency try NZIHS. here is her email add nzhelp@xtra.co.nz ;website www.nzimmigrationhelpservice.com

God bless u all and may the Lord give the desires of our heart...
