Hi Sara,
Any advice. I just got my pre-assessment yesterday and thank God they assessed my qualification on Level 6. I got 130 points after that but I haven't submitted my EOI yet. And since a new passing mark imposed today I need an additional of 10 points. I need to pre-assess my husband qualification also so that I might gain another 10 points. But the problem is he's not a degree holder. He missed 1 semester. Do you think he will pass the assessment? Please help. Thanks! |

Hi Sara,
I am just a new member here. I am really happy because just be reading these threads, I am already getting valuable information about migrating to NZ.
It is clear to me that if my school is not included in the list of institutions under the LRQ, I have to get an NZQA full assesment just to be sure if in case a VO will require it. I am targeting to reach the 140 points level. And I think I can reach it if I can claim points for my wife's qualification. Actually, both our qualifications will need to undergo NZQA full assessment. My question is, if it is also important that my wife's work experience is related to her qualification before I can claim the bonus points from her.
Thanks and best regards,
GilGaj |

Tanong ko lang po, dun sa portion ng Identity document sa form ng NZQA international qualification, kung single ka, do you need to submit your birth certificate? i'm in the process kasi of collating the docs. its not specifically stated there na kelangan ang BC.
Please sa mga single and tapos na magpa full assessment. thanks for the assistance.

Hello everyone!
Want to ask if your claiming points from your partner, should your partner also get a full assessment aside from you?
Thanks! |

Hello Diwata,
I think you don't need to submit your HS diploma anymore. Nung nagpa-full assessment ako, di na ako nagsubmit nun at wala namang hiningi sa akin na ganun.

Hello Russ,
If your partners school is in the LRQ, di na po kelangan - unless your partner is claiming for a Masteral or PHD Degree. Kung di kasama sa list ang school niya, kelangan niya pang magpa-full assessment.
Hope this helps.

| hello! i had my NZQA full assessment and the result was a national certificate in computing level 4-since it is not in the list of acceptable trades, i cannot claim points for this recognized qualification. my question is, are there instances when a full assessment can still be changed or is it really final already? |

Hi sarathomas,
Ibig mong sabihin I will just fill up the NZQA form with the name of my high school but i dont have to submit any high school documents anymore? Nakausap ko yung h.s. registrar and she said they can give a translation of the diploma but its taking too long...kung hindi naman talaga kailangan hindi ko na siya hihintayin. thanks for your advise.

Diwata,

You don't have to fillup that section. That portion is only for those that will fall under this category:
"Items 12 & 13: Secondary school qualifications
In some countries, secondary schools offer general education at junior level, then
technical or vocational education at senior level. If you attended such a secondary
school, NZQA needs to see your junior secondary school qualification(s) and your
senior secondary school technical or vocational qualification(s). Please use item 12
for your junior secondary school qualification(s) and item 13 for your senior
secondary school technical or vocational qualification(s)."
Kung di ganyan ang setup ng HS mo, you don't have to worry dahil di ka na hihingan ng HS diploma. Leave Q12 blank pero f-fillupan mo yung Q13 about your College qualifications.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
Ang alam ko dito, you can request NZQA to reassess you (with a fee) - iba na po ang magiging assessing officer mo...and kapag napatunayan na higher than 4 dapat ang level ng NZQA mo, marerefund mo yung binayad mo for reassessment.
Eto po ang nakuha ko sa NZQA website about this issue:
"Reviewing your assessment result
Can I have my evaluation reviewed? If you are dissatisfied with your assessment, you may seek a review. Please note the following:
A request for a review, and the fee, must be received within 12 months of the date on the assessment report (otherwise, your request will be automatically declined and the fee refunded).
Two evaluators who were not involved in your evaluation will reassess your qualifications.
The review will be completed within 20 working days of being received by NZQA.
The charge for this service is NZ$225.00.
If the result is different from the initial assessment, and this was not due to a change in policy, NZQA will refund the review charge."
Sana po nakatulong...

Hi,
I sent my application for assessment to NZQA last July 17. I emailed them asking for confirmation if the documents I have submitted are already sufficient. Pero they haven't replied. Busy kaya sila or they dont really answer emails? I checked my credit card and the payment for the assessment has not gone thru yet... |
