Hi summer, sowee di ko natanong sa yo if your school is included in the LRQ or not. Anyway if it is, I believe that even PAR is unnecessary. You just have to fillup your EOI like this:

F1 - Yes. Claiming points for a recognized qualification
F2 - Just input your recognized qualification
F3a - Yes. NZQA level (just put level 7 since your school is in the LRQ)
F4a - No. If you put No here, you will not be required to answer F5a and F6a.

Hi Sara. I received my PAR results today and qualification was assessed as level 6. I submitted my EOI 2 days ago and in the rec. qual. nilagay ko na level 7 since based on the LRQ. I can still edit my EOI since submitted pa lang naman status. Is level 6 ok?

105 point only. SUfficient na ba yung PAR (at level 6)?

Sara,

I'm Sunny, just new here. Hope u can help.
Did the VO require you to undergo full assessment even with PAR results already? I thought PAR is sufficient to say that your qualification is okay. So they will also require full assessment in the end pla? So double jeopardy pla to. Sayang kwarta kung PAR ang application.

Also, have you heard of successful applicants not undergoing IELTS based on the conditions provided by NZIS?

thanks & God bless

Hi peeps! I'll try to answer your queries the best I could...

summer:
Since your school is included in the LRQ, most probably, NZIS will not require you to take the full assessment. Pero I guess it depends pa rin on your VO if he/she would require you.

Also, if you did not claim for bonus points and you already got 105, ok na yan. Sufficient na din ang level 6 to give you 50 pts for qualification.

I would suggest that you check the LRQ first. Kung included na yung school mo sa LRQ, I believe full assessment will no longer be necessary. For your other question, NO, actually, ITA is four months. Make sure that before your deadline ends, na-receive na nila ang mga docs mo para less hassle.

stchaves:
If your school is not included in the LRQ, I'm pretty sure that the VO will require you to take full assessment. PAR is for EOI purposes only - dun mo lang ito magagamit. Yes, it will be sufficient to say if you're qualified or not and it will be honored by NZIS for the sole purpose of giving you 50 pts for qualification (depending on you PAR level). After that, wala nang ibang use ang PAR.

Finally, YES, there are a number of applicants na hindi nag-undergo ng IELTS and still were granted VISAS.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

PostPosted: Tue Oct 11, 2005 6:40 pm    Post subject: Grade Requirement Reply with quote

Hi there sara! hope you could also help with my minor question. just wanted to be sure before I reply to the mail of my VO. im just a bit confuse because she wants me to advise if I could meet the average grade requirement since my school is on the LRQ. See mail below:
"I am currently processing your Expression of Interest submitted to
Immigration New Zealand. For your qualification, a four-year Bachelor
degree awarded by Saint Louis University with an average grade either
between 1.00 and 2.00, or between A and B, or of 85% or better,
depending on the grading system used is assessed as occupying Category B
Level 7 or Category C Level 5 of the Qualifications Table and will
therefore qualify for 50 points.

Please advise whether you can meet the above average grade requirement"

What does she mean by these? Is she just asking me if I am sure that I meet the average grade req't? Is there any computation on my TOR to verify if I meet the grade req't? any advise will is greatly appreciated. Thank u so much!

Hi theedawn!
Check your TOR and try to use this computation:

Summation of [Grade x No. of units] / Total no. of units

This way, malalaman mo kung ano ang General weighted average mo.

Hindi ka na nag-PAR, right? Base po kasi sa pagkakaintindi ko, if your grade is within sa bracket na sinabi niya, then you qualify for 50 points. If not, then you'll be required to take a full assessment.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Very Happy
at least lam ko na mdyo tama pa rin nman pala ang iniisip ko. just wanted some confirmation. mahirap nang mgkamali sa application. Even the smallest detail could cost us sometimes.
Thank you so much sara for the input.

regards,
