Hello everyone,
Just wanna ask about the ff:
1. How much is the Tax % deduction from the salary in NZ and AUS.
2. How expensive or cheap are the winter clothes in NZ? (rough estimate?)
3. What is the conversion rate from Singapore Dollars to NZ Dollars there?
Any info will be very much appreciated.
Thanks,

Clothes can be bought fairly cheaply from The Warehouse. You can always dump them as you leave NZ if they are too heavy.
If going seriously hiking in winter, buy good quality from a specialist store, like kathmandu, mountain equipment etc (see their web sites)
You can always post them home when you leave, or sell to fellow hikers.
Tax rate varies from 19% to 39% depending on how much you earn. see www.ird.govt.nz for rates. |
