Hi, spongecoke,
I also need a police clearance from abroad, but not from hongkong. In preparation for the coming of my ITA, I searched through the internet the website of the concerned police office. I e-mailed them telling them what i need and for what purpose, i also told them the duration and purpose of my stay in that country. They responded fast and told me what to do, even sent me the forms that i need to accomplish. I havent done it yet, since I am still waiting for the ITA and the validity of the clearance is 6mos only. The procedure given to me is that i will have my fingerprints taken by NBI to be mailed together with the forms. They will send me the results later. Perhaps, u can do d same thing, search for the website of hongkong police and e-mail them ur concern. Perhaps those who have submitted their ITA docs with police clearance from abroad can share their experience with us here. |

| Hi Hane, thanks sa response mo actually pinapatanong ito ng friend ko kasi more than 12 months sya nag stay sa HK. I'll tell her what you have posted. San country ka nag stay? |

sorry for the late response. i stayed in australia, i would like to come back there sana kaya lang m short of points for skilled-independent category, wala naman ako relative kaya NZ ang naging recourse ko. ang alam ko rin sa US ganon din ang procedure, i have a friend who stayed in the US for years and she had to do the same thing, the whole process takes about 2mos including mailing. Di ko lang alam kung gano katagal sa ibang countries including australia. |

this is the website of hongkong police, they have downloadable forms for certificate of no criminal record-overseas and i think ito yung kailangan nya pati yung form for fingerprints. Better yet, mage-mail sya sa don and ask for the procedures. this is the website: www.info.gov.hk/police/hkp-home/english |
