My friend and I spent the last 2 months in NZ and went with the intention to buy a car and travel the island with it.

We bought a truck from Backpackers Bazaar and had nothing but problems. Car broke down every other day and spent most of our trip in CC getting it fixed. Strongly recommend any other place you can find to buy a car.
