Some friends went to NZ last year and bought a car from "Backpackers Car Mart" in Auckland. I am trying to find a phone, fax or e mail address for them as I would like to do the same. Any info appreciated.

Although this backpacker market is heavily advertised as independent it appears that they have employees showing vans and I have heard rumors of buyback schemes offered. My advice from a fellow traveller is SHOP AROUND!
