hi! I'm Mariz and first time in the forum, I have a lot of question regarding the New Zealand Preliminary Assessment.
It is okay if we cannot get a consultant to process our paper? medyo mahirap ba? kung wala kaming consultant. Anyway, Last July 27, me and my boy friend
went to the Consultant Immigration along in Gil puyat, medyo mahal ang binigay nyang price, amounting NZ $ 3,500, but it is partial payment, and then he gave me a
Application Form of Preliminary assessment and EOI, kunti lang naman pla, I compared it to the web site of NZ medyo mahaba ung application but still the same.
I just want you to ask if you can help me a lot to fill-up the application in Preliminary and EOI, because some of question i can't exactly understand. First,in PAR What is the English language name of qualification?, correct me if am wrong, Is this the Barchelor Degree I taken when i was in college? (e.g. BSBA major in Management), Second,in PAR What is the Original language name of qualification if diffrent from above? It is a Masteral Degree? or Vocational Degree? or is this for the country who cannot use a English language?
Third,in PAR What is the Full name of awarding body? Sorry, I just want to know the exactly what is the meaning of this, Do i have to fill-up this? Please Help me, for
those who submitted the PAR who cannot get the consultan, because we dont have a plan to get a consultant. I appreciated a lot if you can help. Embarassed

Hi Mariz,

When you apply for Expression Of Interest (EOI)under Skilled Migrant Categories (SMC), first your education and work experience, etc must be evaluated by New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) if your qualified to apply. You can do this by full assessment or by preliminary assessment. PAR means preliminary assessment report.

The consultancy agency which you had inquried has its own EOI systems which is recognized and accredited by NZ EOI management. The normally 40 pages you found in the web is only about 10 pages from them which composed of basic requirements. I think they are very accomodating sa mga questions and inquiries. All you have to do is to ask them thoroughly even if you feel like an irrelevant questions. Don't stop asking until it will satisify you.

I will be happy helping you in details, just pm or txt me at 09218196546 so I can explain it better with you with my limited knowledge. In the meantime, scan some of these forums. There's a lot of informations on it and you will found answers before you can even think to ask a question.

Hi!

If you finished your bachelor's or master's in a recognized university, then you don't need to to pass through NZQA. NZQA has a list of recognized universities in the Philippines, mostly those included on the list are the popular universities in our country. Check out first the status of your school, it will surely save you a lot of time and money. Like you, I went through all the process from EOI until the WTR visa stage without an agency. As for your work experience, the Philippines is lucky to be included in the list of countries with recognized work experience (see Guide to EOI which you could download at the NZIS website, that's a big help in filling out the EOI form), hence you need not have the NZQA assess your Philippine work experience. Laughing
