i have sent questions to miss me but no reply..perhaps too busy ma'am.. eh kasi i was just wondering kung sino ang may busilak na puso na sasagot sa tanong ko re: if i go to nz as tourist eh posible po ba ako makakuha ng trabaho dya without a work permit....if ever i could find an employer eh pwede po ba akong matulungan ng employer to get a work permit while im a tourist there?? im in the medical field..specifically dentistry...i have browsed on the internet that dent. assistants are in demand in auckland.... are there nice pinoys out there in nz good enough to entertain us or let us in their homes..or meron po ba murang rate ng rooms there--i heard backpackers rooms ay mura lang...
please lang mga kapuso at kabayan ..enlighten me!!!
thanks very big!!!

kabayan, sa mga nabasa ko so far about immigration ay mahihirapan kang makahanap ng trabaho kung ang hawak mo ay visitor's visa, kasi bawal mag trabaho kapag visitor ka lang sa nz, then sa mga employers din sa nz bawal silang tumanggap ng employee na visitor ang status. merong malaking fine sa kanila, sayo naman ay deportation and you will be banned to enter NZ for ten years (i guess). pero there are instances na pwede ka rin pumunta sa nz on visitor visa tapos pag may nahanap kang job, i think you can apply for "Variation of Condition" sa NZIS. Kung ako sayo kabayan, since you are a dental assistant at nasa skill shortage ang job mo, why dont you apply as Skilled Migrant which is a sure way for you. Yong school mo ba ay nasa List of Recognized Qualifications? If not you have to have your school credentials assessed by NZQA before lodging the EOI.

hope this helps.

Hello Jasmine02,

Job search policy ang criteria mo kasi if you apply now for migrant it will take you ages maybe about 2 years altogether.

My advice is:
1. research at NZIS website if your school is recognized, if recognized no need for NZQA Assessment
2. if not recognized, apply to NZQA for assessment. dont apply for Full Assessment kasi mahal iyon ang i-apply mo muna ay Pre-Assessment Report (PAR) it will cost you only about NZ$70.00

Goodluck !

ms. jasmine02, don't blame missme or any other member of this forum for not answering your queries. no one is obligated to do so. if you only read the previous posts in this forum, especially the original thread http://www.backpack-newzealand.com/nz/article187.php then you wouldn't have asked the kind of questions you expected other people to provide prompt answers to. same questions are being asked over and over again. why blame others who like me just got tired of answering the same questions? that doesn't make us snobbish. we also have a life you know. im sure missme is busy helping others who have taken positive moves to make it to nz. and im pretty sure one day she'll find time to answer all our queries.

hey, one sure asset if you want to make it is independence coupled with resourcefulness.

missme, i'll be seeing you soon?

snooze

Ms. Jasmine02, that was really foul Sad . Sana you could have been more patient. As Ms. snooze said, you cannot blame anyone here who doesn't reply to you. Your question has been answered in another thread. Sana nagbasa ka muna para kahit papaano, may malalaman ka na. Hindi naghihintay ka ng reply tapos magagalit ka kay miss me for not replying to you. I have never experienced that with miss me, she is a very accommodating person and very nice too. And please stop having the impression that Pinoys who have come to NZ have become snobbish na. Read more in this forum and you will find out that THAT is not the case. Goodluck!

Jasmine,

You have to be patient. I for one know that MissMe is busy (very busy) in fact di na nakakatulog yan. So I hope you understand. Please dont be hasty in your judgements, tao lang tayo lahat dito, so have a little bit more consideration, on top of your patience. Also may I suggest that if you want to contact anyone, ask his/her personal email so you could just send your query through email. Forums are almost always secondary to emails so be prepared not to see people posting here regularly.

Am I correct that you said you are a dentist? Check if your occupation is in demand under the long term skills shortage list and the absolute skills shortage list and if it is then proceed with the standard skilled migrant category, (SMC) the first steps being (1) Self Asessment for qualified points -100 and up (2) Professional Registration (3) IELTS if needed (4) NZQA if needed (5) EOI (6) ITA (7)Interview and finally the much awaited (8)WTR application.

I know its a long process but being a Dentist and a professional at that, this is the best process for you. Im just reiterating this because others have posted the same advise....

RITA Wink

Hi Snooze! Kamusta ka na? Godspeed on your journey to NZ Very Happy

P.s. this is an edited version since the one I posted earlier have some mistakes. It was late so I wanst able to check my post for errors..

Ms snooze andJane 24... wala akong balak mkipagaway at tarayan kayo tulad ng ginawa nyo sa akin dito--if you try to read again my 1st query i wrote perhaps missme is very busy... im not blaming anyone or missme..sino ba naman ako to judge at alam kong parepareho tayong tao pero ---i wasinformed that she posted helping interested parties just like in an agency for a fee..and if i would like to get her services --i already sent her my email address--- i guess its proper decorum..if shes running an agency but if not then i am misinfrmed and shes not oblaged to answer me...but if ever she answers i guess may breeding sya not to reply the way you both did!!Kayo inisip nyo rin ba kung nakakasakit ng damdamin and pinagsasabi nyo??????
And Mis jane24 sino ba maysabi sayo na hindi ako nagbasa re my query--i would like to hear it straight from someone like missme or anyone who knows and is already in nz because they are reliable(nasa nz ka anaba??)...at hindi ko gineneneralize na lahat ng pinoys who are in nz are snobbish na-- but to date some of the relatives of my friend in nz are already snobbing my friend....Let me reiterate na hindi nlahat pero may kakilala kami na nagkaganun----teka..nasa nz ka na ba at hanep kayong magreact----??Mga mader--and wrinkles at puso ninyo!!! Si Mr pablo na ang kausap ko at pinagpapasalamatan and here you are scolding me and sending unsolicited advice---so who should cry foul?? just like a dog barking?? anong pakialam mo sa email ko kay Mr.pablo ?? I know how to be polite and thankful and its a good thing mr.pablo here and mr.allan were very nice enough to give me the advice i needed since the ones posted at those threads you mentioned are not specific enough(mind you both nabasa kona bago pa ako nag post ng inquiry) and relative re my case and profession and --im grateful to both of you sir for being CALM and giving me much info needed..(ito po talaga ang kasagutan na kailangan ko)hindi katulad ng mga ibang nagagalit agad wala namang magandang naitulong==baka atakihin kayo sa puso!!!----and to MISSME im sorry incase i have offended you in such a way it wasnt intentional----and Miss RITA thanks also for the info--i have assesd and im qualified beyond 100 points and my school is recognizd no need for NQZA...so i hope this is the end of this topic ..case CLOSED!!!!!!! If ever i get another reply from you girls attacking me once again--rest assured diko kayo papatulan--IPAGDADASAL ko nalang kayo...yon ang sabi sakin ni Father carmelo!!!THOSEWHO HAVE HATRED IN THIER HEARTS and who SPEAKSEVIL ARE SUBMITTING THEMSELVES TO THE LURE OF THE DEVIL!!!

hi jivanne,

are you CPA? swerte ka kasi your occupation as an accountant does not belong in the list of occupations requiring registration in new zealand. so pwede ka magfile under SMC or job search visa policy. regarding sa anak mo, kahit work visa ka lang masasama mo sila either student visa kung school age na or visitors visa kung below 4 yrs. old. anyway, ilang taon na ba mga anak mo? mahirap ang nanny sa NZ baka hindi ka makapag-full time job kung kasama mo mga anak at maliliit pa.

kung SMC ang gusto mo, medyo matagal na ang processing time ngayon. pero kung job search visa, gawin mo na lang yung sinabi ko kay jasmine.
goodluck and god bless !

Check this link and it will tell you all about lodging your Expression of Interest successfully.

Be aware also of the following:

Custody of children
If you are separated or divorced and bringing a child under 16 years with you to New Zealand we will need to see
proof of their right to leave their home country and your right to remove them. Section R2.1.45 of the NZIS Operational
Policy Manual (available online at www.immigration.govt.nz ) contains comprehensive policy on child custody.

God bless.
