hello,
i find this forum very ineteresting ang helpful..i decided to be part of the forum because i also want to share my experience to others who are still deciding on whether to apply to nz or not..i also want to share my plight, someone might be able to help me out..
i submitted my eoi last december and i was selected on jan.19,2005.until now i have not received any ITA..2 of my officemates also applied but they applied a month before me..they got their ITAs in less than 3 months..its been six months since i was selected..i have sent them an email twice and all they said was that my paper has been forwarded to a visa officer in Bangkok..
As i was reading some of the posts here, my case seems to be a rare case..six months is quite a long wait..my last resort would be to call them...
sana may makatulong sakin maliwanagan ang mga bagay bagay dito...salamat |

hi peaches,
the processing time for your EOI to be reviewed is now 9 months..at least.due to the backlog in BKK office. you'll possible need to wait another 3 more months. Good luck! |

hi kirk,
yes i believe that was the timeline given by Bangkok, but why some applicants rcvd their ITA only after three months? Do they give priorities to married applicants? I have a friend, he is married and he rcvd his ITA after three months, already rcvd his visa and scheduled to leave for NZ on aug. and i have this other friend who is single it's been six months and still waiting for his ITA.
thnx and bstrgrds,
cel |

| based from what I read it's on a case to case basis. The ones with the highest points are given priority...meaning those with higher qualifications which NZ thinks might immediately have impact to their economy..that's why they have the priority list. |
