Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the advice, I will be withdrawing my papers to that clinic. My result from our clinic see no reason for me to do medication for the said test result because my SGPT and SGOT is within the acceptable range. I am really afraid to be of the same predicament like that of the husband of M'am Marisol A Casinsinan, my resources is very limited.

I think I will gamble for the St. Lukes clinic given to me by Marisol A Casinsinan. Thanks eveyrone, I will just update you on the result.

Question: My blood was drawn Saturday but my lab results was release only the afternoon of Wednesday, woun't it compromise my blood chem results with that kind of time frame. When I had my latest blood exam, the result was reslease on the same day.

Thanks

Hi guys,

I would like to ask everyone is there any chance that I will be granted working visa with elevated sgpt and sgot? If my second exam for Lipid Profile, Hepa C and Diabetes were all Normal? My Ultra Sound for my Liver was also normal. Then they endorsed me a Gastro and have another round of exam, this time for Ferritin, ANA and ASMA. All is normal except for ASMA. I’ve searched for ASMA and the main cause of that is liver problem(hepatitis) or Lupus. I looked for Lupus and it says that my ANA should be also positive but my ANA is negative. There will be another round of Exam and this is kinda frustrating on my part. Will this kind of result give me a chance for a working visa?

Thanks everyone.

dito na ako sa New Zealand last march 11.. and I really do hope bisitahin ng New Zealand immigration ang peralta's clinic.... they do a lot hell of a job. They want me to have these additional exam in parallel with my submission of my visa application and still I got my visa without those additional exam given to me by that clinic. The hard part is that I already went thru the exam because I thought it was needed and wasted my hard earned money.

Sana makita yan ng immigration ng New Zealand para matanggal na sila sa list ng mga clinic na sanctioned ng New Zealand government

It's a pity that I did not read advises here re Peralta Clinic.

I had my medical exam last week, and upto now with negative chest xray, PPD (additional), serology and hematology the medical results has not been released yet because Dr. Diana Peralta haven't signed it yet.

The clinic is VERY IRRESPONSIBLE! The results of their medical exams were put hold because of the signature only.

Hindi na sila dapat kasama sa panel doctors ng NZ embassy. Na dedelay lahat dahil lang sa signature. If wala palang mag sign..eh di dapat di na lang sila nag accept ng examinations di ba?

Please advise everyone you know NOT to consider this clinic in your medical requirement for Visa application to NZ.

Maybe its about time visa applicants help together in bringing to the attention of NZIS the ABUSE by most of their accredited diagnostic clinics. Most of us have experienced being taken advantage of, from OVERPRICED laboratory tests to UNNECESSARY additional tests.

Why don’t they even visit these diagnostic clinics, some are so ill equipped, their toilets don’t even have running water! I dont understand why of all the available reliable diagnostic clinics in the Philippines, they have to choose these few accredited ones, did they PAY to get accredited?

Am filing for my EOI soon and its really good to have this forum and read about these things. I was initially thinking of getting my exams at Peralta since it is closer to my home. But now I think I'll just go to Ermita.

Would anyone know how much the exams cost nowadays?

All clinics in Philippines are the same - kung may diperensya ka talaga, kahit konting elevation ng bp mo tyak further testing ka na agad. Ang ideal talaga is that for the past year you are in the peak of health at your age. Normal blood pressure, normal cholesterol levels, no history of heart disease, urine and stool levels, no communicable diseases and clear xray. the slightest abnormality will automatically make clinics give you additional tests at additional costs.

So, in order to avoid this, have yourself checked a week before your intended exam by your personal physician - that way, alam mo kung may mga health problems ka na dapat asikasuhin. Also, kung may abnormality ka daw, may second opinion ka na ipapakita sa doctor and/or visa officer.

We just had our medicals this week. The diagnostic center at Palanan charged us P8k each. The standard tests were blood works, urine, xray, optical, routine bp, height, weight plus interview with the doctor and physical exam, meaning magbo bold ka.

But for my husband, he admitted to having high bp and under maintenance medication - which should be no big deal really. So he was made to undergo other tests (ecg, bloodworks, urine albumin) costing around 5k.

And he had to come back for extracting blood, with fasting. Eh sana the first time we could have fasted na para isang blood extraction na lang. Sabi kasi di daw kailangan ng fasting. (Pano ka nga naman sisingil ng dagdag kung di ganun Wink )

Also we were both asked to do Creatinine Clearance at any lab outside. Req daw yan for all. Know what? that involves collecting all your urine for 24 hours and keeping it refrigerated or iced! Yukkity Yuck! Anyways tapos na. Mura lang yun. Mga P350@.

Heto, lucky you I will give you some tips.

Dont declare things if you dont need to, like if you were smoking before and stopped, just say no, u dont smoke. Just say No you dont drink. During the interview dress and look healthy and bright, and tell the Dr. that you keep a healthy lifestyle. Good luck!
