Hi Guys!
I lodged my EOI last Feb, 2005 and got selected the same month. As indicated in the website, I'm expecting to get my ITA around aug-sept, 2005. Before I get my ITA, I'd like to know what specific format do they require for the employment certificate? do they need just a simple employment certificate, or should there be job description etc?what should be the correct format. thank so much in advance for the help! goodluck to all of us! |

Hi Kate,
Your certificate of employment should contain the following:
1. Your position
2. Inclusive dates of employment
3. whether your employment is full time, part time or contractual. I think in NZ, 30 hours per week is considered full tim. In the Phils. we normally have 40 hours per week, sometimes even 48 hrs.
4. Your general job description
I suggest that towards the last part of the certificate, the company profile may be stated, in very brief terms though.
Also, ask the signatory to include position and contact details like direct line, email address, fax no. and mobile no.
