register first or submit EOI?

Hi! i am teacher and i just had my interview in bangkok. Before i submitted my EOI i applied to the teachers council first. I was advised by my agent to have my regisration first so that i can be ensured that i can apply my skills as a teacher in nz if i will be qualified to apply for smc. a teacher can't be allowed to teach more than ten days without the nz registration. I also took IELTS before submitting my application for registration. minimum score for each module is 7 for teachers. I got my registration six months after lodging my application. I had to submit additional requirements within that time frame.

I submitted my eoi last july 6 was selected after a few days.

how did u submit ur EOI? is it on line? have youbeen assessedby NZQA before u submit ur EOI?
