I am jvic also from cavite, I can help you lodge your application for free, I did not take IELTS, only certification from the school I graduated that English is the medium of instruction, you can file now your EOI then get NZQA kasi their passing mark will increase this june. But the process is NZQA first but I know many who were approved without NZQA during lodgment.
Where in cavite you reside? I am in Dasma. |

Wow coincidence nga. well can I get your e-mail address and if possible lets meet and discuss the things you've done over a cup of coffee. Malapit lang ang bahay ko doon if possible one of this day lets meet and have a luch in my place dito lang ako sa tabi ng simbahan, tapat ng Herbees hardware. Almost complete na ang document ko. I'm 35 years old BSComputer Engineer Adamson University, married w/ two kids. genovanoel@yahoo.com is my e-mail address
So your friend didnt take NZQA hows is it done? I thought NZQA is required in case your institution is not included in the list just oearn the 50 points. Or baka may job offer na sila kaya di nila kailangan ng NZQA.
Latly I also found out that "Dang" is also a member here is from dasma also. Lets meet kong possible ngayong weekend. |

Greeting,
I am also processing my papers to New Zealand. Based on my experience, which I did for myself without consultant see the following process.
1. Log in to www.immigration.govt.nz
2. Make an initial assessment, if your qualified file is not do something to increase your chance of getting minimum points (100 points when i applied)
3. Complete the on-line form in www.immigration.govt.nz for your Expression of Interest (EOI).
4. If your school is not included in the list of Colleges and University go to wwww.nzqa.govt.nz and fill up the Pre-Assessment Result (PAR).
4.1. If your school is included no PAR is needed.
5. Buy NZ$ 75 to Australian New Zealand (ANZ) Bank 23rd Floor GT Tower Makati. Its beside RCBC tower and Cityland. This will be in the form of bank draft. Then send the bank draft and PAR form via courier at:
The Qualifications Recognition Services
New Zealand Qualifications Authority
Level 13, 123 The Terrace
Wellington
New Zealand
6. The courier will reach NZQA after 3 days.
7. Wait for 10 days for evaluation. You will be notified via e-mail for the results.
7.1. If you have credit card its cheaper compared to bank draft.
8. Once your PAR is complete you can now fill up the NZQA section of the EOI form.
9. Regarding IELTS i place " Studied from Recognized Institution" since Philippines is using English as medium of instruction.
9.1. Though this is not a excuse I got a certification from my school stating the medium of instruction is English. Plus I am presently reviewing for my IELTS. All yours ACES should be present during the interview in NZIS in Bangkok.
10. After completing the EOI I submitted my EOI on-line and paid in manual method. Get a print out of of EOI for record. I paid NZ$ 315 in the form of bank draft (ANZ bank tel no. 8188117) then send the bank draft to Expression of Interest Team to Wellington using postal mail.
11. There is no courier address in EOI Team so Philippine postal mail (registered mail) is used. It took 1 month to reach Wellington. Its a waiting game. I would recommend using credit card.
12. EOI team e-mailed asking where is the bank draft as proof of payment of EOI. Without the bank draft your EOI will not be process. So I explained to them that UPS DHL FedEX and other courier service are not allowed to send documents to P.O. addresses which EOI Team is using. So i repeat use credit card instead. With a lot of prayers, they received it and processing is done
13. Then you will be notified at www.immigration.govt.nz that your payment is successfuly received by the EOI Team.
14. My EOI were submitted to the pool last December 16, 2004 and with patience and prayers my EOI was selected from the pool with a 115 points last February 16, 2005. All of the status can be viewed at www.immigration.govt.nz.
15. I received letter from EOI team from Wellington confirming that I was selected from the pool.
15.1 Then go to www.immigration.govt.nz/bangkok and you will read those who were selected from the pool (February 2004) without JOB Offer will be given a visa officer this August 2005. While those who had Job Offer will be given a visa officer June 2005.
16. All of this must be carefully planned and see to it that you have friends and relative who reads your documents to look for errors.
17. For now I am studying my IELTS and with patience and a lot of prayers. I am praying that this will gain a fruitful outcome.
18. I am also preparing myself to fly to NZIS Bangkok for the interview regarding the data I entered to their EOI system.
19. Thanks for reading this article |

| I did not take the IELTS and yet I was approved for WTR. I've got a friend in San Mateo, Rizal who were approved for WTR also, but it is only now that they are securing their NZQA full assessment, the PAR is only a temporary assessment of your education, they will still require you to get full NZQA assessment. I suggest to use credit cards in all your transactions, I submitted my EOI on Sept. 8 and was selected in a week time, using on-line application. The passing mark is under review these days so better hurry up if you like to apply. To Dang and Caviteno, I can meet you this weekend only in the afternoon of Saturday, I am a Seventh Day Adventist, I need to attend church in the morning. I am at present enrolled in IT short courses so I cannot make it on Sundays and Fridays, I am preparing for my departure this Aug. I e-mailed my cellphone no. to Ms. Caviteno. Any unanswered questions in the EOI, they will ask you later if you are qualified and selected. |

NZQA - PAR - NZD75.00 - preliminary lang ito
if full assessment now around P20,000.00 each x 2
if you will include your husband qualifications.
EOI - P11,0000
Medical - P6,000 to P9,000 up to full vaccinations
each person included in the applications
Application for Residence - P50,000.00 included na ang secondary applicants
Interview in Bangkok - our plane ticket is USD306 each kasama kasi ang husband so USD612 plus pocket money USD200, plus travel tax P1620 ea. plus Terminal fee P550 each. and Terminal fee in Bangkok 500 Baht ea.
Application for Work to Residence is free but you have to pay a migrant levy of USD200 each for applicants so apat kami I paid USD800 and USD25 for the fee on the return of documents.
P120,000 each as proof of sufficient funds is needed in a form of bank certification to show them you can sustain your 1st 3 mos. stay there
and proof of your sufficient funds for Airfare which may cost one way USD625 each and USD800 to USD1000 if round trip depende sa Airlines. Cathay pacific is the lowest per my last canvass.
plus miscellaneous (passports, nbi, local police clearance, others)
hope this will find you all informative. |
