Do the National Parks have "drive-in" camping sites for camper vans? Any away from the crowds? And reservations, are they required?
Thanks

Hi kwucher. Yes there are "drive-in" camping sites for camper vans, they are called Conservation Campsites. You do not need to book (can't book). The price ranges from free - $12.00 most of them run on a honesty box system. Download the pdf file from the link above to get a listing of all of the campsites of each island. Some of them are more busy than others, but they only get really busy during the hight of summer.
