HI MY NAME IS KRISHNA AND I AM STUDYING A BACHELORS DEGREE HERE IN NEW ZEALAND. MY SPOUSE HAD APPLIED FOR A DEPENDENT VISA, SO I WANTED TO KNOW THAT WHAT KIND OF VISA WILL HE GET ie A VISA WITH PERMIT OR ONLY A VISITOR VISA? AND THERE IS ONE MORE PROBLEM. WE HAVE DID A LOVE MARRIAGE AND WE DONT HAVE A PROPER CD OF OUR MARRIAGE. NOW THE VISA OFFICER HAS ASKED US TO SUBMIT A CD OF OUR WEDDING. WHAT CAN WE DO NOW? SHOULD WE TELL THEM STRAIGHT AWAY THAT WE DO NOT HAVE ONE OR SHOULD WE FIND OUT SOME WAY OF MAKING IT. PLEASE REPLY AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE. PLEASE..

Visitors Visa
You have to be honest with your visa officer and tell him/her if you do not have what being ask for. I am sure there are other ways to prove your partnership (please check the immigration nz website) |

To answer your question, Immigration will likely give your spouse a permit, depending of wheather he make his application for a working visa under the partnership category.
