Hello there! I am new to forums, in fact this is the first time that I will be posting on an Internet-based forums.
As a novice, I would like to get a direct or short opinion on how does migrating to NZ compares with that of Canada-----or, how's living in NZ compares with that of Canada. My application for Canada is still at square one(1).
Initially I have considered Canada but on 2nd pass, I started considering NZ as a better place (since its nearest to the Philippines amd the weather is not that cold).
I am working on a multi-natinal firm here in (a semi-con) as a Business Analyst (IT) to support my young family of 3. I do not know how my current work experience would be at par with NZ's requirement. All I know is that the standards imposed in our factory is of world standard.
I would appreciate any comments/ feedback. |

Jeremiah:
Depending on your qualifications and the amount of money you want to invest --- should be your reasons for choosing between Canada and New Zealand. In Canada, so long as you have the work experience and education, you can definitely go for it. Of course, you will also need to show proof of funds (depending on the family size). In New Zealand, it still follows the same thing. However, when it comes to school, they have a listing of recognized schools. (There have been a separate forum on this). In terms of processing time, NZ definitely is shorter than Canada (which takes 4 years from the time you lodged your application before it can be evaluated by a Visa Officer). Thus, if time is not really an issue, you can go for Canada; however, if you really want to go in less than 4 years, go for NZ. I have read so much info on this and if you need more, I can share with you. Pls email me at marivicsolis@gmail.com.

hello, yes before em and my husband do plan to got to Canada for the reason that my hasband's brother is there. but when we try for assessment it really rrequires a big amount of money for the show money.we have 3 kids too at that time (now 4).but when i try to contact lots of my friends and classmates in NZ they give me so much inspiration bec. NZ is a very nice place to raise up kids...the values we have here in the Phils will be retian bec. they have lots of Catholic schools there.then the crime rate which is almost 0% meaning it's peaceful and the school fess for private schools are much cheaper compared to Canada and even here in Phils. which is what mostly foreign countries can't offer. Other countries have free school/education but just like here in the Phils., it's mostly gov't schools. |
