Hi Maricel,
Thanks for the kind words and the feeling is mutual I also look forward to meeting you personally sa NZ, God willing.
I think the mods of Pinoyz2NZ will be glad to be part of your website, lets ask your kababayan, si Jes who is one of the moderators of the yahoo groups. Thank you so much for offering.
Di naman ako nawala , andito lang ako at kasalukuyang namomroblema sa NZQA ko at ayaw ko kasi kumuha ng PAR dahil tiyak uwi yan sa full asessment, napakagastos (it so happens that I declared my Masteral Degree from a recognized University, without an NZQA sa EOI ko).
Writing the EOITeam of NZIS about the possibility of withdrawing my Masteral Degree and postgraduate diploma at iiwan konalang yung Bachelor's Degree ko, sabi naman ng NZIS ok lang daw. I-fax konalang sa kanila yung corrections ko under the recognized quals.
Hay naku....hope to get your opinion on this Maricel...nabubugnot nako eh hehe
God bless

Hi Rita!
Actually, if you are under recognised list na, the best thing to do is not to claim your other qualifications --- consider the cost, and really it doesnt guarantee na you can claim additional points, maiinis ka pa nga kase after spending for par na 75nzd, ang lalabas bachelor's degree(level 7) pa rin so balik ka sa 50points.
Sa kahahangad ng extra 5 points, may gastos pa, may sakit pang ulo. But am not saying na walang kwenta to claim for masters degree, iba ang educational system dito sa nz. may trick kase unless u have worked in that qualification na kini-claim mo sa work experience din it is justified. I meant, iba ang bachelor's degree mo, you took masters in different field, and is now claiming for that qualifications, dun mo kailangan.
With doctors, teachers iba rin po kase regulated din by the registration board.
Anyways, all you need is one good letter.
Keep me posted what happened. _________________ NZ Immigration Help Service Limited

Ms Maricel,
I was reading the Guide for the EOI and nalungkot ako kasi i cant find the level for my course and my work experience.
Im a BS Psychology graduate at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and was exposed in the different facets of HR. (i've heard from some colleagues na medyo may discrimination pagdating sa university).
Abot kaya ako sa required points? |

Hi seanne,
Nakakalito naman ikaw ba si seanne bernardo rington? kase yung ang inemail ko, dated may 19 pa ang letter mo diba , then I emailed a reply May 21 together with everything...
anyways, am attaching herewith the contents (kase baka sabihin am inefficient eh, ayoko ng ganun, eh paulit ulit kong sinabi na i sent it to you na)

Hi Roseanne!
Maricel here. I am also MissMe. Sorry ha na-confused
ka ba. Also, I'd like to thank you for making a thread for me
sa Backpack, kakahiya naman, hahaha.
Anyways, I have reviewed your CV. I need to know if
your partner is a college/university graduate because
this affects your points as well.
Now, you have a total of 105 points, you are qualified
since the threshold is 100 mark. However, we can push
the score if we can claim for your partner's
qualification, so bale lalabas na 115 which is very
good na.
I know, you have questions why 105 points lang, I made
sure na kung anu lang ang icre-credit ng NZIS sa work
experience you. I don't jack up the points, then ibaba
ng NZIS after verification. Kase tricky ang
verification and must only be aligned with your
qualifications.
Now, we can add more points if we can get a job
offer...kase 50 points din yun. What I suggest is we
start the process now.
I am attaching herewith details of the company, the
director is my dad since citizen na ang family ko
rito, about 10 years na. Just let me know if you
have anymore questions. We treat each client as family
friends naman so you can be assured na the lines of
comunication is always open.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Thank again for considering NZ Immigration Help
Service

Hi Maricel,
Naku at medyo ngat namomoproblema kami (meron pa akong isang kilala na gusto gumawa ng corrections sa submitted EOI na).
So the question is do we fax our corrections rights away or do we wait for the ITA to make the corrections?
Thats our dilema now. Meron kasing nagsabi na sa ITA nalang i-correct....
Yun lang... Im on my second month waiting for my ITA, so Im not really sure if madedelay yun dahil wala akong NZQA.
Maricel, sa pagkaalam mo ba eh the EOI is verified kung kailangan ng NZQA? Meaning, hahanapan ba nila ng NZQA kung nagclaim ka ng Masters?
Hope you can help clear this matter.
Thanks and God bless

Hi Rita!
pati na rin sa lahat ng babasa....congratulations to one of my clients, wala pang isang buwan na client ha, he was selected last pool may 25...yehey! Hurray to "LN"....
to answer your queries...
REVISIONS ON SUBMITTED EOI:
Yes, you can still ammend your submitted EOI if it hasnt been selected to the pool yet, just make sure na you click on re-submit, you will be asked why you are changing the section you are changing.
Now, if it has been selected already, depending on the gravity of the change, pwede it can wait until the ITA (meaning na verify ng lahat ang points mo), there is a section sa Application for Residence under skilled migrant na ammendments. So dun mo lang ilagay lahat.
Now with regards to the questions on how to correct it: pwedeng fax, email, o online ammendment (in the case of submitted EOI, not selected yet). Now, if the change is address, say you are in Bangkok, then you move to London, you can ask them to transfer your application even thru email or phone call.
Now, let me just remind those whose EOI was selected...hindi po kagad ITA ang kasunod...verification po muna, which is fast or slow depending on many factors: location (branch), case (immigration) officer, and response from the offices concerned --- previous employer, etc, etc...then ang lalabas is DECISION SUCCESSFUL --- from there, pa lang kayo mag eexpect ng ITA.
For masteral, NZQA is needed. _________________ NZ Immigration Help Service Limited

Hi Maricel,
I hope you can help me with my problem. You see, my name on my passport is my maiden name so that's what I used in my EOI as applicant. However, in all my employment (past and present) I am known as my married name. So how can the immigration check with my employee if my employment name is different from my application name? Please advise asap. Thanks. I have already lodged my EOI. |

Maricel, kamusta na ,
Ive been quite busy lately kaya di nako napadpad. Thanks for giving me the information...I already had my "changes" faxed to the NZIS in Wellington and hopefully it will be sent safely to the Bangkok Branch where my EOI has been sent.
God willing, the changes will imporve my chances of getting an invitation. Likewise, I wont be required to provide NZQA...my allergic reaction kasi ako sa NZQA not only is it expensive...chances are slim for you to get a good asessment.
Maricel matanong ko nga sayo...I have this friend who wants to migrate to NZ. Unfortunately her job experience is not related to her Bachelor's Degree... I wonder if..if you take her in as a client...does she have a fair chance at least to get an ITA?
Hoping to hear from you soon MissMe...God Bless,

Miss Rita,
Thanks so much. Na miss nga kita eh. Ive been busy myself. Moving to my own place...adjustments, naka-flatting lang me with my son now.
Re your friend, let me evaluate first kung anu ang pwedeng gawin. Then we will see. I also sent you email re your other friends problem. All it takes is one very convincing letter.

Dear Ginny,
You need not worry about it too much. Two options for you:
1. If your EOI hasnt been selected yet, just edit your name there. Okay lang kung sa passport mo na iba, they can understand that. You can still edit your submitted EOI, then re-submit lang.
2. You notify EOI team in Wellington thru fax or email aboout the situation so they are forwarned na sa verification this applies kung selected na ang EOI mo
I hope I made your problem come to light
