| FYI - Mheta's affiliate consultancy contact numbers are no longer active or reachable, I tried to call their no's. +649 5234319/4318 both numbers change and not active as per auto-answering response. I'm wondring why....? Maybe If someone could validate or update the status of Mheta's affiliate company in NZ kindly do so. I'm about to give my 2nd payment to Mheta and currently investigating their permit. Just give me a couple of days to investigate Mheta's authenticity.Wait for my next posting! Thanks! |

UPDATES: ASIA & NEW ZEALAND Consultants LTD.
I have checked Mheta's affiliate ASIA & NEW ZEALAND Consultants LTD. and yet the company is still active for business according to Auckland District Law Society (ADLS). They gave me a new number to call +649 832 5592. I called this number and it keeps on ringing only, you might want to call them also for verification. Below you will see the details of ADSL for further verification you need to ASIA & NEW ZEALAND Consultants. I believe this company is named to "Pushpinder Mehta", according to this site http://www.companies.govt.nz/cms/banner_template/CNAME. Not quite sure if im talking the same person who manage Mheta Consultancy here in makati.
Auckland District Law Society (ADLS):649303 5270
Email Address: marcus.martin@adls.org.nz
NOTE:
Soon I will check Mheta in DTI, NBI and Makati City Hall - Mayor's permit. Just wait for my next update and please post for any update you have for Mheta. Thanks alot! |

i went to mheta sometime 2005 for initial consultancy...but did not push thru with hiring their services since i became a member of pinoysz2nz and learned that everything i need to know about migrating to nz was written at the inz website...
i was give an official receipt by mheta for that initial consultancy...i noticed that the proprietors name of the receipt is under the name of melissa the secretary? is she still working there? i wonder why the receipt is under her name? |

if you apply for skilled migrant category. your visa officer will interview you thru phone...
if you apply for a work permit at the NZ embassy manila. i dont think that the consul / or visa officer will go to Mheta's office to interview you.. if any interview is needed I guess that will take place at the NZ embassy..What Mheta is claiming is just plain ridiculous...
join ka na lang sa pinoys2nz egroups ..libre pa consultancy . mababait ang mga members dun..all you need to know regarding migrating to nz is written at the www.immigration.govt.nz website. |

I personally discourage the use of any immigration consultancy firm/agent para mag migrate dito sa NZ. Online application is the safest and most straightforward method to start your application.

I agree with wellingtonianbuddy dont waste your hard earned money consulting an agency .New Zealand Immigration process I think is the easiest and the cheapest so far compared to canada /australia or UK Only if your going to deal directly with NZIS (New Zealand Immigration ).You know if you deal directly with them you know where your money will go to and you have first hand knowledge whats happening with your application since officers from the NZimmigration will contact you personally.
Try to read and read from the website
http://www.immigration.govt.nz
everything you need to know is in there
And join yahoogroups at pinoyz2nz all members are very helpful .Most of the members that will provide you advice have already gone through the whole process of applying and some of them are already in NZ .Note: they didnt go through any agency "lahat sariling sikap" |

hello rogue,
I just recently joined pinoyz2nz this group was highly recommended by my friends who are already in auckland and wellington .The group was really helpful esp. now that were collecting documents for ITA (invitation to apply for residence) submission
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/pinoyz2nz/
"you have to introduce a bit of yourself to be invited in the group".

there is no asia new zealand consultancy ltd. registered in the data base.
the website of the database is:

I have checked on this link, http://www.bnrs.dti.gov.ph/web/guest/4, it (mheta) is active.
also in this link,http://www.bnrs.dti.gov.ph/web/guest/4, it is not struct off, it is active. you need to type the name title on the search below.
I checked it because I'm one of the Mheta's client and I felt bad when I read the forum... anyway at least I knew some negative sides (like wtr thing) here... but others "I think" needs more information so that it would not give any problem to others. Somehow, I am open to all comments and suggestions or even advices regarding NZ immigrants and mheta here. Thanks. |

If what you are saying is true (that Mheta's company details are active on the DTI website) it does not erase the fact that MHETA IS NOT REGISTERED AS A COMPANY IN NEW ZEALAND.
Is it a negative? Of course, it is - what if one of your clients encounter problems while in new zealand already, do you think Mheta (a foreign company under new zealand law) has the legal personality to intervene on the client's behalf?
Eh di nabinbin sa ere yung cliente kasi di sya matulungan ng Mheta, sya pa sasagot sa gastusin nya dito kung magka-aberia.
Of course, the jury is still out if Mheta is a credible agency, and you are probably one of the lucky ones who have used their services effectively.
There is a new law here in new zealand that requires immigration consultants to be registered in their database by 2009. I hope that Mheta would be smart enough to register as a company and as an immigration consultant here in new zealand. |
