|

The Work-To-Residence Visa from the NZIS website:
Our Work to Residence Work Visa and Permit allows you to live and work in New Zealand for two-and-a-half years. After two full years of working here, you can apply for permanent residence in New Zealand.
Before you get here…
To enter New Zealand you need:to be in good health and of good character
a passport that’s valid for at least three months past the date you are to leave New Zealand
to be genuine in wanting to work in New Zealand
to have the right visa for your visit.
While you’re here…
If you’re granted a Work Permit you need to meet certain conditions during your stay:the work you do must be in line with the conditions specified in your permit
you must keep within New Zealand’s laws
you must only stay in New Zealand for the time allowed by your permit.
(Souce: http://www.immigration.govt.nz/migrant/stream/work/worktoresidence/caniworkinnz/whatisrequired/)
In addition to the above, if you applied for permanent residence (PR) and were granted WTR instead, you need not wait for 2 full years before they grant you a PR. 3 months of ongoing skilled employment is all you need for your residence application to be approved.
Congrats to RAINMAN & TRISHAMAE and to those who have been granted a visa, myself included

By courier - dhl. They usually sent email first but this time the letter, together with my original documents, was sent thru post na lang.
thanks guys and gals for the best wishes! sorry ganoon na lang nga kasi we still have to come up with SUFFICIENTS FUNDS kapag may stamp na siguro yung passport puede na tayong maghapi-hapi!

hi guys,
i'm also a member of pinoyz2nz... i hope you don't mind but would just like to ask:
were you required to show proofs of finances before getting your visas? i've been reading this in some cases, like with trishamae's...
i'm also wondering what kind of visa they would issue my 7 month old baby? definitely not student's...
did you pay the migrant levy outright?
nga pala, are they also sending docs re the interview? would this be required to enter the bkk office? tripathi said in his email 2 wks ago that he'll be sending one, but up to now, he hasn't
thanks! |
