hi tolitz, alam ko naman na mababait kayo but tingin ko kasi sa inyo mataas na narating ninyo as in "urban legend" na kayo(nabasa ko yan somewhere-i forgot na). kasi nga nandyan na kayo sa nz hehehe...ask ko lang kung kilala mo si ronald segismar(taga cebu yan na nandyan na rin)...btw, waiting pa rin sa interview sked...oi.. i heard sa mga new applicants daw wala ng interview, have you heard about that? sige ha, ingat kayo lagi dyan ha.

urban legend? di ba pag legend, it also means that we're kinda old already? (si corex baka pa) Laughing sorry but i don't know any ronald segismar... where part of auckland kaya sya?

yes i heard that also... ang siste is all those who submitted their ITA application on or after july 28 lang ang affected... no one that i known of has confirm this pero malakas ang bali-balita... sana nga totoo, at least makakatulong ng malaki sa mga kapwa pinoys na mabawasan ang gastos... ok ingat din kayo... keep in touch...

Hi Tolitz,

Just read ur message today and thank you so
much. My husband and I decided to leave the kids
for now and when we're settled in NZ already then
they could follow us, para naman hindi rin sila
mahirapan. We have to find jobs pa so di baleng kami
munang mahirapan.

You know we're also CFC kids coordinator here
pero sa ngayon medyo inactive kami kc may mga
hindi naintindihan sa group, the way they deal
with other members. Alam mo na the pinoy
ugali, prang may groupings depende sa financial
status mo.

Again thanks and hope to meet you and your
family soon.

hi marge,

it's nice to hear from you again... akala ko nandito ka na... we did the same thing, it's only me and my wife who moved here and hopefully very soon we can get our kids... sad to hear na ganun ang nangyari sa household nyo... pero kagandahan dito sa nz, di nagiging issue ang financial status mo (so far and hopefully not)... it's probably because here, all of us pinoys are all just plain people... may medyo nakaka-angat pero kung anuman ang kinakain ng isa eh ganun din ang kinakain ng lahat... nagkakaroon ng sariling sasakyan... may maayos na damit at simpleng buhay... and besides hindi din talaga dapat maging issue... personally for us, since joining cfc, God has given us so much blessings and made my faith more stronger... sana pagdating mo dito you will find time again to join...

so when is your plan to come here??? hayaan mo isasama ko sa prayers ko that you'll find the job you want... hope to meet you as well soon...

hi colt,

sorry, i can't get thru your email to answer your question... so i decided to post it here instead... you can assume that interview will likely be scheduled after 3 months after ITA submission but don't count out the possibility that it may come earlier... when we had our interview, it was only 2 months after ITA submission... just be ready within 2-3 months time just in case... let me know what happens and good luck...

Hi Maradaisy,

Okay kita kita lang unya ta diri...pohon pa...

Hi Jay,

Well it depends on what bank you want to open..Just like me and my friends here..we were endorse by a Filipino friend (also a Cebuana), we open at ANZ with a $50 initial deposit...But as I've said it really depends, because in ASBANK, they really require $500.00 before an account is open..But what is good here in NZ, they don't require any maintaining balance in your account..as long as it doesn't fall to zero amount..then account is still open.BUt what is bad here is...there's always a charge in every transactions like withdrawals,EFTPOS and DC (Direct Credits)..But as of now, I think ANZ has the best option with this, they call it EVERYDAY ACCOUNT where they only charge $5.00/month for unlimited transactions. And there's one account where you won't pay any charges at all..as long as you don't exceed 10 transactions in a month..But I know some banks here don't require any amount of how much you're going to deposit as long as you want to open an account. I think National Bank or Westpac Bank are one of these. For BNZ and Kiwibank... I don't know..

Hope this satisfies your query...Ug ayo ayo Dong...Kita kita ta diri..DAghan na kaayo tang Cebuano or I'd rather say Visayan speaking (kay naa man sad daghan bag ong abot from Mindanao)..

Godbless you all,
Corex

Hi Jay,

KiwiBank require a minimum maintaining amt of $4000 (called Front Runner). No transaction fees for EFTPOS, DC, no maximum usage either etc etc. No sure abt WestPac though I read that its pretty high charges

Hope the above helps..

hi marge,

if you intend to live here in northshore, matulungan kita dyan... dami naman ditong nagpapa-homestay and besides maganda din ang environment... in finding a job, kung di ka masyadong maselan sa work then baka mai-refer kita sa ibang friends namin dito... you may end up doing odd job first since december til mid january is kinda low season for job hunting...

let me know kung kelan ang dating nyo... kung possible for you to set your arrival on weekend para masundo din kita from airport... take care and God bless...
