corex,
you're always included in my prayers... it's nice to hear that you've finally joined cfc... after your graduation, true blooded sister na kita ... i think cebuano din sila bro. dingdong and sis pattie or ilonggo?
that's the pride of northshore, ang daming beaches na maganda and free pa... we were actually at takapuna beach last sunday, muntik na tayong nagkita... the weather is getting good kaya madaming tao pumupunta, school holiday pa... di ba we're planning to have our next meet here in northshore, maybe in one of the beaches here... siguro nga after na makuha mo na yung PR mo... para may mag-treat...
so dun sa mga papunta pa lang dito sa nz... you may want to consider living here in northshore specially that summer is just around the corner...
private joke lang po yang president na yan...
cheers |

Hi guys,
Question lang po, ano ba ang benefits ng mga WTR holders compare sa mga PR's. May medical benefits din ba ang WTR holders? The reason why I asked this, habang nagwo-work tayo dito NZ (wtr at work permit holders) kinakaltasan and sahod natin ng tax kagaya din sa mga mga Permanent Residence at NZ citizen and I'm sure maraming benefits ang PR at citizen. Paano naman ang mga WTR at Work Permit holders? Hope someone can enlighten me
Cheers! |

Hi Popsy,
As far as I know...parang walang benefits...except that yong tax na kinaltas..pwede kang mag claim ng tax refund sa next year...yon lang...When it comes to loan...well maka loan ka nga...pero payable up to maximum of time issued for your visa (work) plus a guarantor...But you can't apply for a credit card and a housing loan...personal loan lang po sa bank...
then about the medical benefits.. pwede kang kumuha ng Health Plan like Southern Cross pero tru salary deduction sa employer mo...like what I did when I was still in Hilton...but tinuloy ko kahit wala na ako sa Hilton..Individual contribution nalang...not as a group..pero same rate at validity...yon ang pinaka importante daw dito esp. pag Work Visa ka lang...di ka pa kasi covered sa hospitalisation benefits unlike sa mga PR na...then sa skoling..if you want to enroll for a continuing education..mas mahal if di ka pa PR...and you can't avail of the student loan...This is all I can contribute to your queries popsy...

hi maradaisy,
sorry, hindi ako cebuano pero true blooded Pinoy naman, which i think matter most... dito madaming cebuanos, si corex is one and i also know a handful of them... approachable naman kami ha, so you don't need to build up your courage to send us messages... i saw your name from other threads and i admire you for offering your assistance... well i guess that's we're here for... sharing each others ideas and help as much as possible... i hope you'll get your interview sched soon... we are hoping that members from this blog will soon come over so we can have a big gathering... mas marami mas masaya...
i hope to here from you again soon... and good luck on your application... |

hi corex,
did you get your tax refund already? sa akin ubos na kaka-trade me (hehehe)...
in addition to corex post...
there's a lot you can get pag PR ka na talaga, like lesser doctor's fee, higher subsidy sa medicine purchases... though free ang laboratory exams... i know a children's hospital here that caters to all with very minimal fee (starship hospital)... for primary and intermediate schooling walang masyadong difference if you're going to put your kids in govt schools...
banking and finances? well, corex got it all... just want to add that if your company doesn't offer superannuation... some banks here offer to do it for you by auto debit... maganda din if you have this which serves a some sort of savings for you...
hope this adds some info to others...
cheers |

Hi Isabela,
When are you leaving? Me I am leaving this October 15 or 16. Wala pang confirmation sa ticket e. If 15 ay Thai and if 16 ay Qantas? How about you? Destination initially ay Remuera in one of my friends house.
Let me know yours para may makausap naman sa airplane.

Thanks for your replies corex and tolitz Yup iba talaga ang benefits ng PR. I have a pinoy co worker who's mom had a heart by-pass a few days ago...they didn't spend a single cent. |

Hi Tolitz,
Just read ur message today and thank you so
much. My husband and I decided to leave the kids
for now and when we're settled in NZ already then
they could follow us, para naman hindi rin sila
mahirapan. We have to find jobs pa so di baleng kami
munang mahirapan.
You know we're also CFC kids coordinator here
pero sa ngayon medyo inactive kami kc may mga
hindi naintindihan sa group, the way they deal
with other members. Alam mo na the pinoy
ugali, prang may groupings depende sa financial
status mo.
Again thanks and hope to meet you and your
family soon. |

Hello Geoff!
Thanks for sharing. We too decided to leave
first so that we could find a job and prepare
everything before the kids follow. We did not
submit the passports of our children pra hindi
na magkaproblema.Kung pwede nga lang dalhin na
lahat kaya lang short and funds kaya tiis na lang
muna.Trust everything to the LORD na lang kc HE
knows what we feel. |
