yes, there's a lot of odd and not so during november-december... that's because a lot of locals (kiwis) are going on a holiday during these months, some companies are looking for people on a casual/temporary basis to fill in the position of these people... this will drag on til around mid-january... just keep on applying thru internet and you'll never know there could be one out here who might be interested to get you... keep your hopes alive, always remember PINOY KA... and most importantly pray for GOD's guidance and blessing...
cheers...
and to my friend corex,
tama ka dyan sister corex... GOD IS REALLY GOOD... sobra-sobra talagang blessings ang natatanggap namin sa kanya... and we praise and thank him for that...
di ko pa sana i-broadcast but since you started it already, then it think i owe it also to my friends here to share my experience as well... i just got an email from my case officer informing me that our application for PR has been finalized... she was actually asking for my children's passport para sabay-sabay na matatakan... so tawag agad kami sa pinas sa in-laws ko to tell them to send the kid's passports asap... she said that the process of labelling (yung ang tawag nya) will take about 20 days... so eto sobra sobra saya at excited na sana dumating na agad passport ng mga anak ko so i can send it to her asap...
it seems like dumadami na ang nabibigyan ng PR since one of our friend got a letter (approved in principle) as well... tapos yan pang kay cathy... congrats cathy...
and for those who's still waiting like my friends corex, sesame, wewel and others, darating na din yan... dadagan pa natin ang dasal... sabi nga nung isang bro. namin...
A MAN'S PRAYER IS GOD'S WEAKNESS
hoping that this sharing of experiences will somehow lift the spirit/morale of all those Pinoys still waiting for their dream PR...
cheers |
Thanks Tolitz. Sana nga dumating na rin yung hinihintay namin... |

congratulations to you tolitz and to your family regarding your PR approval. just want to ask you when you first applied for your WTR, did you include your children in the settlement fund or is it just you and your wife? Is it ok not to include them and hopefully when i could find skilled employment in NZ and applied for PR after 3 mos. that's the time that i will submit their passport? medyo malaki kc ang kailangan coz i have 4 kids. magkano ba ang outward ticket na dapat i-include sa fund? Yong 9 and 10 yrs old ba half lang ang babayaran sa ticket? i have already a bank certificate worth 350,000 pesos. I s it enough for the six of us? and lastly pwede bang ma withdraw and pera sa bank kc sa totoo lng hiniram lang namin yong pera from a very good friend.
hope you could enlighten me on this. thanks and to all those who have already received their visa congrats and to those who are still waiting like us,just pray coz GOD knows the perfect time for us. |

hi marge,
yes, our children was not included in our wtr application since we have the same problem about our settlement fund... i dont see any problem if you decide not to include your children in your application... you can apply them later on if you're somehow settled here already... you don't need to wait for your PR to be approved before you can apply for your children's visas... P350T for a family of six is small... i think its good only for you and your husband, kami kasi 300T... kung hindi mo din naman balak isama mga kids nyo pag punta dito, i suggest na wag mo munang ipadala mga passports nila kung yan lang ang fund nyo, baka kasi magka-problem ka pa... and yes nagalaw din namin yung settlement fund before pa nila na-release yung visa namin... same with you hiniram lang din namin yun and we didn't encountered any problem at all... hopefully ganun pa din ang procedure... children below 12yo i think has airline discount, the best person to ask about this is probably those working in airlines or travel agency, di ko kasi sure how much discount they give... yung cost of outward ticket should be included in your settlement fund, so kung NZ$1000/month/pax + ticket, you're looking at around P130T/pax...
hope this helps... God bless... |

Hi Marge,
I'm just new here. I have the same problem when I submitted my application for WTR. I am married with one kid and I only have Php230,000 pesos in my passbook.
Since I have a problem with the funding at that time, I decided to just submit it (application) to my VO. What I did is I write a letter, which was included in the documents submitted to my VO, stating that although the funds that was reflected in my passbook as of that date is not enough to satify the required funding, I can satisfy it before I leave for New Zealand. That I will gather the additional fundings through my earnings from work and personal clients.
After one month and one week I receive this email from NZIS:
Dear Mr. Geoffrey Alejo,
This is with reference to your work to residence application regarding evidence of funds.
Referring to the covering letter and evidence of funds you submitted, the total amount is sufficient for only one person (4,200 NZD per person). So we would be able to issue visa for you only and will return all three passports to you.
Once you would be able to submit the additional evidence of funds, please send the passports of your wife and your son to our office and please attach payment details for return courier fee of 850 Baht or 20 USD. Please note that if you wish to make payment by bank draft in US dollars, a bank fee of USD 10 is applicable.
Best regards,
Nongnuch Boonridruethaikul
Administration support officer
Immigration New Zealand
Bangkok Branch
Now I am looking for additional funds (baka may gustong magpahiram ) so that I can bring my wife with me. Kung wala, then I'll just go alone hoping that I can immidiately find a job to satify the required funding.

Hi tolitz...
Just today...iniikot namin buong NORTHSHORE...from Takapuna..Browns Bay...Long Bay...Glenfield...Albany...at ano pa yong mga suburbs na inikot namin..Me and my friends (yong mga bagong dating) attended a CLP in Emie and Dondon's House (I don't know if you knew them...)Then after that...we met this Pattie and Dingdong Maderazo who offerred us for a good sightseeing in all the places and beaches of Northshore.. I really enjoyed..because it was my first time to go all around Northshore..and so with my friends...And they all kept asking me???when they gonna meet you...They really want to meet the 'tunay' na 'EL PRESIDENTE' OF BACKPACK.. And so with Sesame too...Then I told them..you're just in Northshore..but I don't know your exact addresses...so maybe they could just meet you..when we have our next meeting???When will that be???When we get all our PRS???? When will that be???for me???? Just continue to pray for me..my dear brod...
Godbless,
