Congratulations Kidra, Han and others who were given the Visa. To the waiters, just be patient, malapit na yan konting tiis na lang. To those affected by the new policy, don't loose hope, re-assess your situation and decide what to do. Alam ko hindi madali but I know somebody in a similar situation in the past, I met her in Peralta clinic and according to her it was her 2nd try. The first time nawala rin yung EOI nya because of a new policy but when the point system went down she re-applied and the last I heard nasa Auckland na sya.
To those who are already in NZ or about to leave, saan ba makakakuha ng murang ticket? Please send naman your agency name, contact number and how much kuha nyo ticket. You may email me at aquaman19622000@yahoo.com
Tholitz, received your email and it's nice to know na meron na kyo work ni Eilleen. Don't worry, I will definitely let you know my plans pag malinaw na. Wala yata ako matitirhan dyan at wala taga sundo sa airport, he he. Hindi ko muna isama si esmi and kids, magulo and magastos. Pag settled na ako saka ko sila pasunurin. Keep sending those emails re your experiences in NZ. Bye for now.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!!
Indeed, God is good all the time! He answers all our prayers in His time!
Just want to share with you good news! Our visa officer Lalitporn emailed us last Decemeber 29 that our WTR visas were approved and sent on that day also (dec. 29, 2005).
We submitted our WTR application last July but our visa officer communicated to us only last December 16 asking for a new x-ray results (me, my husband and 12 y.o.eldest son) because she said we used the old medical form. We complied immediately and sent them tru DHL. But on Dec. 23,we received an email again ( pero nabasa namin Dec. 26 na) that she did not received my son's x-ray results, only mine and my husband, and that she cannot process further because aside from that our bankdraft for migrant levy expired! She is asking for a new bank draft as soon as we can! Very frustrating isnt it! Pero wala tayong magawa, di naman pwedeng awayin natin at ipamukha sa kanila na di namin kasalan kung nag expire yun because pinadala namin yun july pa! kaya nag pa bankdraft ulit kami (Dec 27)at pumunta sa Doctor para kumuha ng panibagong X-ray result for my son at pinadala agad tru DHL on Dec 28.. V.O. confirmed receipt of documents on Dec. 29 in the morning and on the afternoon of the same day, she emailed informing that our WTR has been approved and DHL will pick up on that day also....
Grabe ano, pero in everything that we do, we commit all of it to the Lord!
kaya to all the waiters, be patient and TRUST IN GOD!

Congratulations sa lahat na may visa na!! Wish you all the best for a new year and a new chapter of your lives!
Does this mean kaya na lahat ng nag-submit ng old Med forms have to re-submit xray results? bayad ulit?
God bless sa lahat!
cheers, grace |

Hi fish, sa tingin ko it was because we we're using the old form. Actually, we recvd mail from NZIS operation manager last april 2005 informing us that we can still use the old form that they sent and honor it till June of 2005.But still they asked for the new x-ray, siguro din dahil we submitted it 6 months ago pa and they want to make sure that during this time walang sakit na dumapo sa amin . Ang masakit lang is ang payment kasi for the x-ray lang we are asked to pay P2,000.00 each. grabe, ang mahal! we paid P6,000.00 for the three of us! ang doctor kasi feeling ko nag take advantage din!
Anyway good luck to all of us and God Bless! |

Hi to all!
Mukhang wala yatang nagpo-post dito sa thread natin. Anyway, just drop by to say hi to everybody and for those waiting pa din, please wag mawalan ng pag-asa.
There's a lot of jobs here that's waiting for you, basta wag lang mapili. Ako nga out of my field pa ang work ko, pero just for the sake of surviving I need to do it. Simple living lang talaga dito, basta hindi ka maluho tatagal ka dito.
I met Cora na nga pala, but not yet kidra, jpe and chu. Kung fortunate enough baka my wife will work where Cora and Chu works. Sana makapunta na kayo dito so we can meet each other and have a get together for all backpackers.
Hope to see you all guys here very soon. Til next time, may work pa e. |

For those in NZ, pls check if what I wrote is ok.

Hi Jesse,
Read you summary of useful informations shared by our generous members and I find it very useful and handy especially the part of what to bring in NZ/cellphones/banks, etc. Thanks
Tholits,
I already got my ticket. I will fly Feb 17 via Cathay, Php - Hongkong - Aucland. I was trying to book a much earlier flight but all airlines are fully booked. To those whose WTR visa was already approved, I suggest that you shop for the ticket immdediately if you want to leave asap. Tholits, I will email you for the details of my flight and possible accomodations. Bye for now.
