Hi Vandex,

We're on the same boat - waiting for that illusive stamp in our passport. Obviously I can't answer your first question but your 2nd, visa is good for one year so you really schedule when you want to leave. Balitaan mo kami pag dumating na visa mo.

Sesame,

Thanks for your message. We have the same situation wherein we also submitted our WTR application last may 21, 2005 and til last week we havent received any confirmation of receipt. So what i did, i emailed our Visa Officer asking if she received our application and immediately she replied acknowledging the receipt and informed us that our SUBMITTED INFORMATIONS WILL BE SUBJECT TO PENDING VERIFICATIONS RETURNING CLEAR AND ALL REQUIREMENTS MET but she did not tell us how long will it take for them to do it.
Please give us news on your side also so that we can also share ideas.
From what place are you? are you going with ur family? To what place are you going and when are you planning to go?
Thanks and hope to hear from you soon.

hi allan! congrats!

yes, you need to pay the migrant levy (for all the family members included in the application) and send it together with the wtr application requirements.

hello jvic!

how many weeks did it take you to get your NZQA assessment report? i was reading through the post and found out that you also graduated from PUP!

i actually have my WTR application already and one required document is the NZQA report! i told my VISA officer, i'll pass it once i have it.

i sent my NZQA application last March 2005. i'm sill waiting for the result. the NZQA officer handling my case told me (this June 2005) that they're still waiting confirmation from my univeresity (PUP) regarding my degree. hmmm. did your NZQA application took this long too?

vdycong,

Sorry for the late reply. Parehas pala tayo kami we sent our WTR application last May 25 and they received it May 26. Hindi na rin ako mapakali so I called the Bangkok office (wala kasi sila confirmation wether they received my application. The customer service person was gracious enough to answer my questions. Kukunin nila yung application number mo and then mukhang tinitingnan nila computer and she confirm to me that our application is with them. She also told me that verification usually takes 1-2 months so wait lang daw ako. Meron din ako nalaman sa isang friend ko na under Sampang agency, according to him ang nag ve-verify nung papers ay staff ng NZ embassy dito sa Pilipinas.

1 month na tayo nag aantay ng visa, hopefully this coming weeks pag uwi natin galing office our children will excitedly approach us and say daddy meron DHL pouch kang dumating. Until such time, let's pray and cross our fingers.

vdycong,

Additional. I'm from Laguna nga pala. I have four kids. Kung makuha do yung visa, I plan to go to Auckland, ako muna siguro since wala ako babagsakan dyan. Mahirap pag marami kayo and your still feeling your way in. Pag naka settle nako I'll ask my whole family to follow. Sa Auckland ako since my background is in manufacturing. I'm a CPA but my experience is in logistics. Ikaw tell me naman about your background. Thanks.

Hi sesame,

I just read your reply. Thanks for the info.
YOu mean, yung mga taga manila embassy and nagcheck ng papers? Maybe ang bank statements cguro ang i verify nila? what do you think? or our previous papers na sinabmit natin? If it will take 1-2 months then we are almost there. Pareho pala tayo na palaging nagantay ng DHL. I hope it would not take too long.

Im planning to go first also and in Auckland. Kung darating yun early July, then im planning by end of this year. Im in construction and architecture. I have 1 child, still 5 years old. Pareho kayo ng wife ko na nasa Accounting and in manufacturing. We are here in Lapu-Lapu City and she's in MEPZ working. So if makatrabaho ka doon, maybe you can also help my wife work there kung mauna ka.

I hope you will keep in touch so that we can also share thoughts and other info that can help us in our plans.
Thanks and God Bless. Very Happy

vdycong tanong lang hindi ba kailangan ng offer of employment para mag apply ng work visa? kasi yun ang nabasa ko sa website ng new zealand eh?.
tsaka tanong ko lang anong propesyon mo sa construction in particular? kasi sa construction din ako, CAD Draftsman ako with 10 years experience sa construction and architecture, balak ko rin mag-apply ng working visa dyan sa nz kaya lang kung kailangan pa offer of employment parang mahirap yata yon? dahil wala nmn ako offer ng employment, although nag-aaply ako thru website, papaano kayo nag submit ng application mo? thanks in advance

Dear Van,

Yes, i-verify nila daw yung bank certificates na pinadala mo. Sino pa magtutulungan kundi tayo rin. Mag post ka kaagad dito once you receive your visa and I'll do the same. Cge, let's keep in touched.

we sent our WTR documents and passports last June 15. per earlier posts here by kababayans & a call to nz bangkok, mga 2 months nga po tayo maghihintay from the time they receive the docs to verify bank certificates, among others......

with the political temperature rising in the country each day, i join all other WTR applicants in praying for the immediate receipt of our stamped passports.....baka magka revolutionary government pa dito at maapektuhan pa application natin.....huwag naman sana

btw, my wife trishamae will go first ( hopefully by September)sa Wellington -- then me and two kids will follow after graduation (by April)

to snooze van sesame vincent and all WTR prospectives -- goodluck...

hello to all!

I have also submitted my wtr application and passport last June 22.

If anybody out there had already received their passport with visa stamped, please post at this thread so that we who are in waiting could refer to the nature and conditions of the said visa.

To those already in New Zealand who traveled for the past six months under Skilled Migrant Category whether PR or WTR, please give us any helpful feedbacks.

Right now, we should all help each other for the sake of being "Magkababayan" !

Again, Goodluck to all of us!

Allan

P.S.
Just curious, I haven't heard any from Snooze, Deacon Blues, Major Dude, Jazzy Jayt and to MissMe, a little clarification regarding our WTR concerns in this thread would be greatly appreciated!
