Hi Seane,
Siguro mas okey if you do it yourself. You can get all the info you will need from the NZIS website. Mas makakasiguro ka nahindi ka maluluko. Kasi most of this consultants are capitalizing on our ignorance e :. Kapag alam mo ang gagawin mo mawawalan nang raket yang mga consultant na masyadong malaki sumingil di ba .
Regard and goodluck.

| Yes, mse1387, that's true one can do the EOI application by himself/herself by searching the NZIS website (just like what I did on my application)...But since Mr. Seane has been asking for a referral that's why I asked him to check MissMe's post who herself is a Filipina residing now at NZ and has good intentions towards kababayan...if only you would check her posts on the other thread you will find out what i am trying to say..kaya naman nirekomenda ko siya kay Seanne...for some kasi even though they can do it by themselves gustong maniguro kaya they are interested to employ services of a consultant.... |

Thank you for replying to my questions. mse3187 and Major Dude are you now residing at NZ? I really want to go there.
I really want to do it on my own for i think it is cheaper than to hire a consultant you are right mse3187 that they are capitalizing on our ignorance. I have browsed www.immigration.govt.nz and it helps me a lot. im currently preparing other supporting documents. Pls if you have extra time educate me on the processes pls pls pls. I would really appreciate it.
THanks very much to both of you mse3187 and Major Dude and more power.
When i am discussing these to my husband and baby they were all excited. |

Hello, seanne
Most of us here didnt employ the services of immigration agencies like American Dream, et al. You can already find all the necessary information in http://www.immigration.govt.nz. However, there are some cases that can be a bit confusing and that's when a forum like these could come in very handy. I suggest, if you have time, to read the posts here esp the Filipino Who Wants to Migrate to NZ thread. Try to explore more forums,if i were you, just to be more knowledgeable about the processing and NZ in general
But first, check out the Skilled Migrant Category Points Indicator in http://www.immigration.govt.nz. See if you qualify to submit your Expression of Interest (EOI)
And if you are, just follow this diagram http://www.immigration.govt.nz/migrant/stream/work/workandlivepermanently/caniworkinnz/quickcheck/
Hope that helps |

|
|
| Good day to everyone! I would just like to ask something from anybody who read this message regarding the period of EOI verification from NZ. I was just selected from the pool of EOI level the first week of July and now on verification. How long is the processing period for the above-mentioned level? Is it possible you'll be denied or not be given an ITA? If so, what is the sign? Where can we find the status of our application? Of course, I'm using a Philippine based agent regarding the submission of my documents. I need your heartfelt reply regarding this matter. Please help! |

Super Guko,
No one is really sure how long it takes the EOI to be verified. So far, some in the forum who had received theirs waited 8 or 9 mos. Been also waiting since Feb. If u visit the NZIS bangkok branch and click on the processing times, u will c d sked. Those who have been selected before June2005 will be notified by end Sept 2005. Those who were selected after 1 June 2005 will have to visit the site after Sept to know their sked. However, the sked they post can change due to large number of applicants. They are updating that page every month so visit ka na lang lagi don. |
