hello everyone!
i came across this site while searching for more info about NZ. i am currently working on my documents for visa application for skilled migrants category. I intend to work there in new zealand as a teacher. What are the chances that i will be able to get a teaching job when i arrive there? is it okay if i will just scout for teaching jobs when i arrive in NZ or do i need to look for employers as early as now. are there filipinos teaching now in NZ? Hope to hear from you, any suggestions or pieces of advice. i have received already my practicing certificate from the new zealand teachers council.
Though I am already in the final stage in the processing of my papers, there are still a lot of questions bugging me.
Hope to hear from anyone soon.
Thank you.
PS. it is nice to know that a lot of my kababayans are eager to help their fellow Filipinos. Again, thank you and God bless. |

Hey Piyo,
Im sure you know the good news that teachers, well specifically University Lecturers and I think Early Childhood Teachers are on the shortage list...meaning it would be easy to look for a job.
My suggetsion is, contact MissMe, whose sister is a teacher in NZ...she is in the best position to help you.
Ciao
