Since we don't have New Zealand Embassy here in The Phils, is it safe to pay your application thru online sa www.immigration.gov.nz or sa bank? if you have any idea how long they will process it if your applying for a skilled migrant? Who told you that there's no NZ embassy in the Philippines? They have an office in Buendia, Makati. If only you will check the telephone directory. |

Hi MJ,
Yes, there is an embassy in Makati however, it doesn't handle PR visa applications. Phil applicationsw are processed in Bangkok (and cometimes Beijing).
I never had problems paying online. The advantages are it's faster and cheaper than bank draft.
Here's my version of turnarund time (based on what I've so far read)
EOI verification - 6 months
From application submission to interview - 6 to 8 weeks
From interview to approval - 2 months
The above timings may changed after sometime. Last year, EOI verification took only 3 months.
