"If you're aged 16 or 17, and on the minimum wage, your pay increased from $7.20 to $7.60 per hour from 21 March 2005. And if your 18 or over, and on the minimum wage, your pay increased from $9.00 to $9.50 per hour from 21 March 2005. If you're doing training in your job, the training wage ($7.50 per hour) may apply to you (even if you're over 18 ).
