Im a registered teacher for more than five years until i decided to take another course and currently a registered nurse.I plan to go to new zealand and settledown there in the future as what many of our kababayan wanted to do.Most of the immigration consultancy advised me to go to new zealand taking a student visa.Any body who can advised me and give me information.I dont have aNY relatives in this land.Thank you

hI ye all!

Please be careful in processing your papers thru an immigration consultant. First, dapat licensed na sila ngayon. Second, mahal masyado ang services. Third, makakapunta po kayo dito sa new zealand thru direct hire or SERIOUS RESEARCH sa website ng Immigration New Zealand.

Nasa website lahat ang requirements. First and foremost, tingnan po ninyo ang profession niyo kung kasali sa shortage skill lists, especially sa LTSSL (long term shortage skill list). Kung nandun ang profession niyo, research ninyo sa website ng profession niyo (e.g., Nursing Council) kung ano mga requirements ng profession niyo. Kung may exam pa or registration pa na kailngan dapat gawin mo muna yun bago kayo mag EOI. Speaking of EOI dapat above 100 points kayo, kung hindi don't bother to apply na. Waste of Money!

Yung mga nurses, may bagong pathway na ngayon. I met young Pinay nurses last month na nasa "Bridging Course" sa UCOL (Polytech school dito sa Palmerston North).(Yung iba nag agency, yung iba nag direct apply). Tourist ang binigay sa kanila ng immigration then pag natapos na daw ang bridging course saka mag apply sila ng jobs dito para ma-convert to work visa status nila. This is a legitimate pathway already. Halos 12 Pinay nurses ang na-meet ko last month dito so hindi siya fake. Try niyo magtanung sa school (UCOL) mismo kung ano mga requirements (direct na lang, huwag na mag-agency).

Kung gusto po ninyo talagang mag-abroad (dapat yung mag-asawa mag-agree), yung "busy-busy" na reason ay walang kapupuntahan. Pinaglalaanan talaga ng TIME & MONEY. Madugo ang processing pero kung nalusutan lahat sobrang WORTH IT ang returns!
