I just wanted to pass on to all future backpackers/travelers to NZ, that if you want to try some of the best FOOD in the world, please visit CAFE FE (named after Mt. Iron) in Wanaka, just near Queenstown on the South Island.

I was in NZ for 6 months in 2003, and still dream of the food from Cafe Fe. It is ran by this awesome Australian couple, and I really hope that they are still there and serving it up. So, stop by and try it out (I highly recommend BREAKFAST) it will be well worth it. And, later when you're living off rice and ramen, you'll definately miss it.
