Ano ba ang ruling dito sa nz sa working hours?
my wife kasi eh salary, so 8hours ang paid sa kanya daily. problem is etong pinay nya na boss eh tinatambakan sya ng work in such a way na para matapos nya lahat, kelangan nya mag overtime atleast 2-3hours per day. walang namang bayad ang overtime then kapag mag undertime sya, bawas pa din ang sweldo nya kahit halos 10-15hours lagi ang overtime nya per week.
ano ba pwedeng gawin kapag ganito? pwede ba basta iwan ang work after 8hours (like most kiwis do?) - di ba ground for dismissal ganun?
any suggestions? bagito pa lang kasi kami dito sa nz kaya di pa namin alam mga ganyan na rulings. |

first thing is to read your wife's copy of her employment contract regarding overtime. from my personal experience, my employment contract says that no overtime is paid unless it is authorized by supervisor. does your wife's contract has a similar provision?
is your wife keeping tabs on how long she works? she might need proof she is doing unpaid or unauthorized overtime to the HR.
if you need guidance, you can contact the employment relations authority regarding this matter, but be very discreet about it.
she can polish her CV and look for other jobs.
good luck. |
