This is fantastic news, Rainier.

Too bad INZ Manila has just lost the only person I know who is very useful up there.

I've never done this before but there is always a first:

Highly recommended to anyone.

Are you currently registered with the IAA Mr Sales? If not, are you taking steps towards registering yourself or your company with the IAA in the very near future?

Go to this site -> http://nurse2nz.blogspot.com/

A very good site to guide Filipino nurses who are planning to migrate to NZ.

Good day to all of you. Anyway I'm Ronald from Makati City. I'm an Industrial butcher or slaughter man for pigs and cattle. Just wanna ask sir/ma'am, if there's any way with this kind of profession can look for a job and then migrate to New Zealand?

Hoping for your response,

Thanks

First off, welcome to the forum.

Second, all the information you need to migrate is primarily on the NZ Immigration website: www.immigration.govt.nz . That website is the official website of the NZ Immigration Service, the government agency under the Department of Labour tasked to assess and decide upon visa applications.

Basically, the first thing you need to know (aside from New Zealand being the right country for you and your family to migrate) is if your skill is in demand and that there is a shortage of industrial butchers here in NZ. To know if Industrial Butchery is a NZ skill, refer to the list in Appendix 11 and ANZSCO which can be found on the Immigration website.

If a butcher is on the list on Appendix 11 then refer to the ANZSCO list. If butchering is an occupation with a skill level of 3 (and provided you have the qualifications indicated there) then your occupation is a skill that can possibly get you residency.

Then, to know if your occupation is in demand, search for job vacancies on the following websites:

www.seek.co.nz
www.nzherald.co.nz and click NZ Herald jobs on lower right side of main page.
www.trademe.co.nz and click on Trademe jobs.

If you find out that your skill is not a skill nor in demand in NZ and you still want to work abroad, then there are websites that you can surf to see if there are vacancies for butchers in other countries such as Australia:

www.workabroad.ph
www.monster.com
www.careerbuilder.com

Good luck!

Hi levi, good question. Yes I will be registered with the IAA, I am working on that as we speak. I am not allowed to be a fully licensed adviser as I only left the government and the rules states that I cannot be licensed for 12 months. However I have confirmed with IAA that I can get a provisional license, which means I will be under supervision by a fully licensed adviser. I will be working with Geoffrey Abraham of Manawatu Immigration Services. Hopefully I will get my license soon. Cheers!
