Hi to everyone. I'm just new here. Glad i found this site. I've been reading some of the threads and somehow, medyo nalungkot ako. Well to start, I got Mheta as my migrattion agency. Reading some negative comments about them, medyo nag-worry tuloy ako.
I am a ComSci grad., but the experience I had was not really related sa course ko (automotive design)although we still uses systems and some CAD skills. My husband unfortunately did not finish his college degree but right now, he is working as mechanical designer in Japan. Dahil sa work experience niya at skills, nakakuha siya ng engineer visa doon.
Ang worry ko, ako kasi ang principal applicant, baka hindi ako makakuha ng work at mag expire lang ang WTR namin kung sakali.
Baka may suggestions kayo? Right now, nag-iisip na akong i pull-out ang application ko and go for Canada migration instead.
Please advice. Maraming Salamat. |

hi JAR
Go for Canada migration.
Ok ang Canada when it comes to opportunities, salary, work environment (less discrimination) and benefits (healthcare, etc...).
For me, climate lang ang magiging concern sa Canada. |

Canada is a good option although the migrant levy is soooo expensive. At least you get permanent residency if you qualify so you get benefits right away.
Have you tried researching Australia? |

Thanks for the opinions.
@engr2008
- yup...i think i am gonna check-out Canada migration. Medyo hesistant kasi ako sa Canada kasi alam ko medyo malaking fund ang kailangan ko.
@levi
- hindi ba mas mahirap sa australia? Meron kaming nakausap before na consultant na Filipino na nandoon, ang sabi niya sa amin, since wala kaming kamag-anak doon, there's no way that we can migrate in Australia. |

Australia immigration is harder and more expensive than in New Zealand. But if you qualify you get permanent residency in the end, not a 9 month work visa when you apply in New Zealand.
As to lack of relatives preventing you from migrating in Australia, let's take that with a big grain of salt. Try researching on your own and don't rely on what other people tell you, even if it is a registered consultant. |

@JAR
You've just met a lousy lying or dumb consultant.
I know a family who'll migrate to Australia next month. They have no relatives in Australia.
I suggest you go to Australia if Canada is too expensive for now. |
