I have been reading about flight costs from the Philippines to NZ and it seems that there are not much of a choice but hopefully suggestions of flight options can come up of where to buy the most economical one.
I am here in Singapore and planning to visit Sydney for a week before going to NZ(I applied for a visitor's visa already to Australia and will know after they return my passport back to me this week) so I am opting to buy from Jetstar going to Sydney and Auckland or NZ air from Sydney to Auckland.
Asking also for suggestions of economical Manila-Auckland flight fares.
Thank you in advance. |

| Just make sure that you know when you decide to fly on those "budget" airlines like Jetstar or Pacific Blue of the baggage requirements. Some budget airlines charge extra for extra bags or checked in bags. |

thanks levi...I checked flights from Manila to Sydney and there are US$500 dollar ones but they are usually during Tuesday or Thursday...same with Qantas...but I guess it should be at least 2 months advance booking or else the price will go higher after that...
Got my visitors visa from Australian embassy so have other options. I also would like to point out that for Philippine passport holders...Flights from Manila to any Australian airport is allowed (for transit or transfer flights) and no transit visa is required (but only on a limited time..I think not more than 3 days..please correct me if I am wrong)...If intending to stay in Asutralia for more than 3 days...then an application of a visitor's visa should be done. |

| i think the cheapest mnl-akl will be with brunei airlines, you just have to take 10-12 hour stop in brunei. next is cathay. based on our experience early this year. |
