Wanted to know, if I'm on WTR visa, will the schooling be free for my school going children?
Can I get any skilled job other than what I was approved in the ITA. Is there any base salary that I should look for to apply for PR? Do I need to get the exact job title as mentioned in the EOI (LTSS)? |

| Schooling is free even on a WTR visa. Your kids' passport has a study visa stamped on them. That is enough. That's true till the college level - or high school as we call it back in good ole Pinas......As for base salary, nope, no minimum is required as long as it is "skilled" as defined in the ANZSCO bible. |

In order to get permanent residency, you should get a job under the skill you declared in your ITA. but there is nothing preventing you from having a job that can pay your bills while looking for that skilled job.
there are new policies regarding skilled job and base salary - its on the operations manual. but as a general rule, as long as the work you have received is skilled and suited to your work experience and qualifications on your pr application, then salary is not a big matter. |
