Guys,

I'd received email from NZIS Shanghai, they sent my passport already and I'd checked my online status right away.

I was granted a work visa, and will be given a nine months work permit upon arrival to NZ.

job hunting na....goodluck to us!!!

im currently processing my visa.. hopefully i'll be there in november kpag walang delay... i'm having problems with translating documents.. very costly..

i had a job in a call center for the meantime..

update lang po.. im back on track with my career here in the philippines.. with a better pay as i had before. not only that... i had 3 job offers.. (hay buti na lang d na ako magko-call center)..

however, i'll only stay on that job for five months.. then fly na to europe...

i just want to stress out specially to potential migrants... THE IT SKILL DEMANDS VARIES PER COUNTRY... kya check if your skills are in demand in NZ.. my skills are worth diamonds in the phils. and europe but not NZ.. wrong move though..

My hats off to you, maccie. You refused to be a victim of circumstance; you did not have the best experience here in NZ but you stayed in course. The frustrating experience of job-hunting did not dent your self-confidence one bit - and you were realistic enough to realize you are in a losing proposition here in NZ and did something about it.

Hope there are many more Pinoys like you who had not-so-good opportunities here under the WTR found other opportunities elsewhere. Keep us updated!

why not submit all the passports altogether? hoping to get a longer visa period?

dependents will get exactly the same visa period as the principal applicant.

Sadly, you have to do your very best to find work here. Just the past few days, 300 kiwis lost their jobs as 3 companies closed down again. Good luck!

alam naman po namin na pareho po sa principal applicant yung makukuha naming visa kaya lang po we're thinking na mas makakatipid siguro kung sya muna ang pupunta...then hanap muna sya work and if ever na swertihin sya saka kami susunod pag na settle na nya yung lahat...
