Naku, that query is light years too late to ask now. You should have known that ages ago, before lodging your application if your skills will give you the PR you are dying to get your hands to.

There are lots of kinds of "machine operators" on the ANZSCO list, the official list of all occupations practised here in NZ and Australia. All with skills set level 1 to 3 are "skilled"; those with level 4 or 5 are "not skilled" and of course, will not give you PR status in your visa application.

Just google ANZSCO (or search in immigration website) to see full list. You need to have Adobe Reader to access that documents though. Good luck.

production machine operator

is this in the nzis essential list?

if it is not in the list, I can almost guarantee you won't get even a work permit.

nzis is surely doing things by the letter now with the rising unemplyment and all.

"I am a PR here in NZ for more than 2 years now with a decent job.

But now I am thinking of going back home. Life here is so laid-back. At first it was exciting but now it gets boring. Even my children are thinking of going back home. I understand there is a great future ahead of us here. But life seems so slow here.

I am really confused.

Please help."

Very Happy Very Happy....

Ako, gamitin ko lang NZ. will go back to uni once makuha na namin ang PR namin THEN, apply na ako sa canada after I graduate. kung citizen na kami by then, fine. kung hindi, alis pa din ako.

parang very small and fragile kasi ang economy ng NZ. I dont really see a lot of possibilities dito. Parang madali ako tatanda. Very Happy

Don’t you think that will be unfair to NZ?

It’s a simple question and I think my whereabouts has nothing to do with it. If you think it matters, then can you explain how it would.

Is it unfair or not? A simple question answerable by yes or no...and it's not even directed to you.

Excited? When and how did I show excitement? Easy? Go easy where?

Very Happy

And the answer to your question is NO.

Very Happy
