June 24, 2009: Scheduled phone interview; 3:00 PM, Beijing time.
(Interview almost cancelled as I got an e-mail that their system was down..I e-mail back that I will just open my phone line the whole afternoon...and got a call from my VO: Trina Kuo)
Almost done with the interview until she asked me to submit my NBI! Because I only submitted my police clearance from where I am now and from my Municipality in the Philippines.
Checked with the Philippine embassy and ...finger printing(only) is done by appointment..then send a letter with pic and fingerprinted form to a relative in the Philippines...will do it within 1 week time and submit the copy as soon as possible...
Keeping my fingers and (balls) crossed.

hi,

si SX din VO namin. nagsubmit kami ng ITA naming last oct 2008, then nainterview kami last feb, 2009. Last May, may WTR invite na. now, may wtr visa na. kaso lang, recession naman, kaya by sept pa punta si hubby sa NZ. Di muna kami sasabay. Mahirap na, baka mapauwi kami, tapos ubos lahat ang ipon..

hi janice_r

i think it is more risky and difficult to find work if your hubby will go to nz by sept. considering the 4th quarter is where companies usually slowdown hiring approaching the xmas season.

better if he could go there maybe feb or now..

disclaimer:

my opinion only

hi maccie,

yeah, but he is still at iraq now finishing his contract. He cannot leave the company yet. Maybe, we just face all the consequences of our application... We just hope and pray that even if the company will slow down, there is still opportunity. another plan is, when he get there, he will try to get multiple entry..

thanks for the advice.. Smile

Hi Janice,

Can you give us details on the WTR visa given ? I heard after the released of WTR visa, you need to fly to NZ within 3 months, after arriving there you have 9 months to find permanent job to apply for permanency.

Is there no extension in case you can not find permanent job within 9 months (fue to recession) ?

Thank you in advance.

Warm Regards,
GARY
