Lahat yan pinakuha at dinaanan ko, research ka lang... Be ready lagi, medyo mahigpit si SG kaya malamang lahat yan i-require sayo, lapit na yan...

Thanks so much for this forum even I just new to it and I able to get much information needed in migrating NZ.

Btw I was invited to apply for residence last November 19, 2009. Currently complying the requirements needed by the embassy, my ITA was forwarded by Manila Office to Beijing Office. My question now, do i need to contact the Beijing Office before sending my papers more or less next week? I was waiting if someone will contact me from the Beijing Office, that's why I never contacted them. Hope someone can give me idea regarding with this.

Another questions how much will it cost the airfare going to NZ, from Manila? I dunno have idea regarding with it, or can someone share the stop over in going to NZ? does the plane direct to NZ or it will stop in Australia or what?

Thanks you very much.

Congratulations for getting the ITA.

Perhaps you need to review the ITA package that NZIS sent you. It should tell u where to give your reply to the ITA along with the documents. The clock is ticking and you need to comply with the requirements within a short period of time. When in doubt, contact NZIS (i.e. the signatory in the ITA letter). If you know that your file is already in Beijing, then my guess is that you send your ITA form(s)/documents to Beijing. Always quote the unique identification/file number in all of your communications with NZIS so your mails get to the right person asap.

There are a number of airlines that serve the Phil(Manila)-NZ route - e.g. Qantas (which normally stops over an OZ city (e.g. Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane) before heading off to NZ), Cathay Pacific, SIA, Emirates, Royal Brunei (some say it is a lot cheaper than others), - amongst others. I recommend SIA.
Shop online or shop around (if not comfortable doing it online).

Good luck!

Thank you very much wellingtonianbuddy for your response on my concern. I not able to get as early my papers because currently I am working, I don't want to neglect my duties also hehehe.

Regarding the planes at least I could now budget the exact amount for the plane, because I have tight budget.

Is it okay by the embassy that you would reason out that you have a financial instability in your country? that's why you go immigrate NZ to get a stable job for example.

Can someone give an idea on what possible questions will be asked during an interview? or any links.

Thanks a lot

Hi guys! I just received my ITA pack this week. My due date of submission will be on 15 Apr 2010. Presently I'm working here in Singapore.

They require us to provide police clearance from Saudi Arabia. acfrancia suggested to contact the Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant and Workers Affairs (OUMWA) at DFA, Manila; which I did (thru email)

The officer form OUMWA replied and refer me to Phil. Embassy in Riyadh; I send couple of email for inquiry but they havent revert....yet.

Then I called-up DFA Manila, they told me they can assist me in requesting such certificate but the processing time is three (3) months!!! and it depends also on the processing in Saudi..
And the requirement/docs that I need to present are my old passport(that I used during my stay in Saudi) and employment cert. But the thing is I dont know where are my previous passport.. Its been ten years now since I saw my first one.????

Can I request NZIS for extention?.
Can I submit statutory declaration as I've read on this forum in lieu of the certificate?

BR

Perhaps you can focus on what benefits NZ can expect from you (e.g. you have skills that NZ needs).

Try reviewing previous posts/threads. I must have read something about criminal record checks for those who have lived in the MIddle East.

You may request for an extension perhaps a few weeks before the expiry of the ITA when you already have a spcific date within which you can definitely comply with all the requirements.

I've check old posts (2008) regarding the same requirements.. Some send statutory declaration and their VO accept it. Any idea if they still accept it.
Coz Im having problem looking for my old passports..
