I just want to ask (anyone who knows, please) if there is a required show money if you applied as a skilled migrant. In Canada kasi, medyo malaki ang needed show money. Kaya ka nga nagaaply abroad,it's because you're looking for a greener pasture di ba. Also, if I included my husband and children in my application, are they required to go with me right away?Kasi, our plan is I'll go first so as to ensure what's in store for us there and then they will just follow after a year or two perhaps. Kung hindi pwede yun, please advise me kung ano dapat kong aplayan. I am a graduate of Industrial Engineering. Am I still required to take IELTS? Another thing, does my qualification need to be assessed by the NZQA?I'm afraid kasi they might not credit my experience kasi I've been a bank employee for almost 9 yrs na.Many people kasi are misled that Industrial Engineering only applies to just manufacturing. They don't know that we can also work in service indutries as well. Anyone, please, assist me on these.Honestly, I can't go to a consulting firm because just like everybody else, we're experiencing financial crisis too. Thank you.

hello! i think i've already answered some of your q's in the other messages somewhere in this forum.

now, ielts: let me take my case as an example. i am a grad of communicn arts, i taught eng subjs in the phils for two yrs, and i had a master's frm an american univ, although it was taken here in germany. and in the nzis website, it`s written somewhere that if english is the med of instruction for the degree that you gained, AND most especially, if the country where the course was taken has english as its first language (or something to that effect), then you need not take the ielts. i'd say the master's frm a usa univ saved me frm taking the exam. it also costs money to take it, i know. and itīs stressful.

in your case, am not sure. my friend has the same degree that you have, and she had to take the exam. i suggest again for you to fill out a sample eoi applic on the nzis website, or read more there.

regards!
